Jörn Kaplan
Jörn Kaplan (born 15 April 1981) is a German pool player. Career At the 2005 German Open, Kaplin won his first Euro Tour medal, where he reached the semi-finals. In 2006 he won his first German championship in 8-Ball. In 2008, Kaplin, along with partners Benjamin Baier and Marco Tschudi won the German team championships with 22 wins, and 6 losses. Personal life Jörn Kaplan married Ina Kaplan in 2012, with one child. Pool is a classification of cue sports played on a table with six pockets along the , into which balls are deposited. "Pool billiards" is sometimes hyphenated and/or spelled with a singular "billiard". The WPA itself uses "pool-billiard" in its logo but "pool-billiards" in its legal notices. The organization compounds the words to result in an acronym of "WPA", "WPBA" having already been taken by the Women's Professional Billiards Association. Normal English grammar would not hyphenate here, and the term is actually a Germanism. A general rules booklet on pool games in general, including eight-ball, nine-ball and several others. Each specific pool game has its own name; some of the better-known include eight-ball, blackball, nine-ball, ten-ball, seven-ball, straight pool, one-pocket, and bank pool. Benjamin Baier
Benjamin Baier (born 23 July 1988) is a German footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Viktoria Aschaffenburg. Career Baier began his career with Kickers Offenbach, making his debut in November 2007 as a substitute for Denis Epstein in a 2–1 defeat to SpVgg Greuther Fürth in the 2. Bundesliga. Offenbach were relegated at the end of the 2007–08 season, and Baier spent the following two years playing for the club in the 3. Liga, before joining RB Leipzig of the Regionalliga Nord in 2010. A year later he returned to the 3. Liga, and Hessen, to sign for SV Darmstadt 98. In the 2013–14 season Darmstadt finished in third place, and won promotion to the 2. Bundesliga after a dramatic win over Arminia Bielefeld in the playoff. Baier would leave the club at the end of the season, though, joining Regionalliga West side Rot-Weiss Essen. On 16 June 2019, Viktoria Aschaffenburg announced that Baier had joined the club on a 2-year contract.

Ina Kaplan
Ina Kaplan ( Jentschura; born 14 May 1987) is a German professional pool player. She is an eleven-time German national champion and is the second female player (after Franziska Stark) to win three of four disciplines in one event at the championships. In 2010, Kaplan reached the final of the European Pool Championships in ten-ball, finishing as runner-up behind Jasmin Ouschan. In the Women's Euro Tour, Kaplan won events in 2013, 2014, and 2017 and finished three times as a runner-up. Kaplan is third on the all-time list of winners in the tour, behind Ouschan and Kristina Tkach with a total of 12 medals from the events. Kaplan also promotes pool events, usually women's events. The Euro Tour is a series of professional pool events set around Europe, founded in 1992, and created by the European Pocket Billiard Federation. The Tour's first event was the ''Belgium Open'', held on May 29 – 31, 1992. The event was won by Mika Immonen. As of 2022, the Euro Tour has hosted 176 tournaments, currently in the discipline of 9-Ball, hosting between 1 to 6 events per year, since 2010.
