Benjamin Baier
Benjamin Baier (born 23 July 1988) is a German footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Viktoria Aschaffenburg. Career Baier began his career with Kickers Offenbach, making his debut in November 2007 as a substitute for Denis Epstein in a 2–1 defeat to SpVgg Greuther Fürth in the 2. Bundesliga. Offenbach were relegated at the end of the 2007–08 season, and Baier spent the following two years playing for the club in the 3. Liga, before joining RB Leipzig of the Regionalliga Nord in 2010. A year later he returned to the 3. Liga, and Hessen, to sign for SV Darmstadt 98. In the 2013–14 season Darmstadt finished in third place, and won promotion to the 2. Bundesliga after a dramatic win over Arminia Bielefeld in the playoff. Baier would leave the club at the end of the season, though, joining Regionalliga West side Rot-Weiss Essen. Aschaffenburg
Aschaffenburg (; South Franconian: ''Aschebersch'') is a town in northwest Bavaria, Germany. The town of Aschaffenburg is not part of the district of Aschaffenburg, but is its administrative seat. Aschaffenburg belonged to the Archbishopric of Mainz for more than 800 years. The town is located at the westernmost border of Lower Franconia and separated from the central and eastern part of the ''Regierungsbezirk'' (administrative region) by the Spessart hills, whereas it opens towards the Rhine-Main plain in the west and north-west. Therefore, the inhabitants speak neither Bavarian nor East Franconian but rather a local version of Rhine Franconian. Daniel Baier (; born 18 May 1984) is a former German professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Born in Cologne, Baier first played for the youth team of TSV 1860 Munich. He generally plays an offensive midfield role. He played in his first league match against 1. FC Köln on 13 September 2003. He has played in the Under-20 German national team, his debut coming on 7 October 2005 against Wales. Dieter Eilts has said about Daniel Baier: "Daniel is an individual talent. He plays a deadly passing game. If he continues in this way, he has a big future." On 31 January 2010, he left VfL Wolfsburg and returned to FC Augsburg.
