Jérémy Cadot
Jérémy Cadot (born 7 November 1986) is a French foil fencer, bronze medallist at the 2013 World Fencing Championships in Budapest and team European Champion in 2015. Biography Cadot was born and raised in Lens, in northern France. He took an interest in fencing after watching it on television. He took up the sport at the age of seven at his local club under maestro Fabrice Vanhems. He won the U14 French national championship, ranked 9th at the 2003 World Cadet Championships in Trapani and took a double silver medal at the 2006 World Junior Championships in Taebaek City. He finished the 2005–06 season World No.7 in junior rankings. In the senior category, Cadot climbed his first World Cup podium with a silver medal in Copenhagen in January 2007, followed a few months later by a bronze on Isla Margarita. Gerek Lin Meinhardt (born July 27, 1990) is an American right-handed foil fencer. Meinhardt is a two-time individual NCAA champion, 12-time team Pan American champion, three-time individual Pan American champion and 2019 team world champion. A four-time Olympian, Meinhardt is a two-time team Olympic bronze medalist. A three-time Olympian, Lefort is a 2016 team Olympic silver medalist and 2021 team Olympic champion. Race Imboden (born April 17, 1993) is an American left-handed foil fencer. Imboden is a nine-time team Pan American champion, six-time individual Pan American champion and 2019 team world champion. Peter Joppich (born 21 December 1982) is a German foil fencer. Biography Joppich is a five-time World Champion in Foil with four Individual titles and one Team title. He won the gold medal in 2010 World Fencing Championships after beating Lei Sheng 15–11 at Championnats du Monde, Paris. He was also the winner of the World Fencing Championships in St Petersburg in 2007 after beating Andrea Baldini 15–9, Turin in 2006 after beating Baldini 15–14, and Havana in 2003. Julien Mertine (born 26 June 1988) is a French right-handed foil fencer, four-time team European champion, 2014 team world champion, and 2021 team Olympic champion. Career Mertine took up fencing at the age of five with his father, a fencing master who trained amongst others World champion Victor Sintès. When he was eighteen he joined the centre for promising young fencers at Châtenay-Malabry.
