Jyoti Goho (born 1953) is an Indian Classical Musician from Kolkata, India. He is well known for Harmonium accompaniment. He belongs to Kirana Gharana. He is working in Indian classical music industry from last 40 years and is a Musician Faculty at ITC Sangeet Research Academy, Kolkata, India. Early life Jyoti Goho was born on 13 May 1953 in Kolkata, West Bengal to Shri Shyam Sundar Goho & Late Smt Bela Goho. He belongs to a musical family. He completed his school level education from Khudiram Bose Central Collegiate School, Kolkata & college education from Seth Anandram Jaipuria College, Kolkata. He holds a bachelor's degree in arts. Kirana Gharana
Kirana gharana is one of the Indian classical khyal gharanas, and is concerned foremost with perfect intonation of notes (swara). Singing style The central concern of the Kirana style is swara, or individual notes, in particular precise tuning and expression of notes. In the Kirana Gayaki (singing style), the individual notes (swaras) of the raga are not just random points in the scale, but independent realms of music capable of horizontal expansion. Emotional ''pukars'' in the higher octaves form a part of the musical experience. Indian classical music is the classical music of the Indian subcontinent. Bhimsen Joshi
Pandit Bhimsen Gururaj Joshi BR (; ; 4 February 1922 – 24 January 2011), also known by the honorific prefix Pandit, was one of the greatest Indian vocalists from Karnataka, in the Hindustani classical tradition. He is known for the '' khayal'' form of singing, as well as for his popular renditions of devotional music (''bhajans'' and '' abhangs''). Joshi belongs to the Kirana gharana tradition of Hindustani Classical Music. He is noted for his concerts, and between 1964 to 1982 Joshi toured Afghanistan, Italy, France, Canada and USA. Ajoy Chakraborty
Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty (born 25 December 1952) is an Hindustani classical vocalist, composer, lyricist and an exponent of the Patiala-Kasur gharana. He was given Padma Bhushan Award, the third highest civilian award in India in 2020. Early life Ajoy Chakrabarty was born in Kolkata, West Bengal. He was raised with his brother in Shyamnagar. His younger brother, Sanjay Chakrabarty, is a lyricist and composer. Rashid Khan (musician)
Ustad Rashid Khan (born 1 July 1968) is an Indian classical musician in the Hindustani music tradition. He belongs to the Rampur-Sahaswan gharana, and is the great-grandson of gharana founder Inayat Hussain Khan. He is married to Soma Khan. In a story told in several versions, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi once remarked that Rashid Khan was the "assurance for the future of Indian vocal music".
