Jutaí
Jutaí is a municipality located in the Brazilian state of Amazonas. Its population is 13,886 (2020) and its area is 69,552 km², making it the fifth largest municipality in Amazonas by area and the ninth largest in Brazil. Geography The municipality is in the Juruá-Purus moist forests ecoregion. It contains parts of the Jutaí-Solimões Ecological Station. It contains the Rio Jutaí Extractive Reserve, created in 2002. Jutaí-Solimões Ecological Station ( pt, Estação Ecológica de Jutaí-Solimões) is an ecological station in the state of Amazonas, Brazil. It protects an area of flooded and terra firme forest in the Amazon biome. Location The Ecological Station covers in the Amazonia biome. The station lies between the Jutaí and Solimões rivers. The Rio Jutaí Extractive Reserve ( pt, Reserva Extrativista do Rio Jutaí) is an extractive reserve in the state of Amazonas, Brazil.
