''Just for You'' is the fourth studio album by American singer Gladys Knight. It was released by MCA Records on September 13, 1994 in the United States. The album was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best R&B Album at the 37th awards ceremony, while "I Don't Want to Know" earned a nomination in the Best Female R&B Vocal Performance category. Critical reception Allmusic editor Alex Henderson found that ''Just for You'' "is a decent R&B/pop effort that, although not in a class with Knight's classic Motown and Buddha recordings with the Pips, has more strengths than weaknesses. Gladys Maria Knight (born May 28, 1944), known as the "Empress of Soul", is an American singer, actress and businesswoman. A seven-time Grammy Award-winner, Knight recorded hits through the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s with her family group Gladys Knight & the Pips, which included her brother Merald "Bubba" Knight and cousins William Guest and Edward Patten. James Samuel "Jimmy Jam" Harris III (born June 6, 1959) and Terry Steven Lewis (born November 24, 1956) are an American R&B/pop songwriting and record production team. Benjamin "BeBe" Winans (born September 17, 1962) is an American gospel and R&B singer. He is a member of the noted Winans family, most members of which are also gospel artists.
