"Juntos (Together)" is a song by Colombian singer-songwriter Juanes. It was written by Fonseca, Descemer Bueno and Juanes. The song was released digitally via the iTunes Store by Walt Disney Records and Universal Music Latin on 20 January 2015, as the lead single from the soundtrack for ''McFarland, USA''. The song is a Latin pop song with alternative rock music influences and an instrumentation consisting of an electric guitar and synthesizer. Upon its release, the song peaked at No. 14 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot Latin Songs and No. 1 and No. 9 in Colombian and Venezuela, respectively. The song's accompanying music video, was directed by Niki Caro. Juanes performed "Juntos" at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards on 8 February 2015. In 2000, his solo debut album ''Fíjate Bien'' won three Latin Grammy Awards. Juanes has sold more than 15 million albums worldwide. Raised in Colombia, Juanes began playing piano at age two. When Juanes was 17, he started his first band, Ekhymosis, in 1988, which went on to release eight albums, achieving recognition in his native country of Colombia. The track "Dos" from the album ''Niño Gigante'' in 1992 was very popular. Nikola Jean Caro (born 20 September 1966) is a New Zealand film director and screenwriter. The chart focuses on Latin pop music, namely Spanish-language pop music. It was established by the magazine on October 8, 1994 as a subchart of the Hot Latin Songs chart until October 2012 when the Hot Latin Songs changed its methodology. Latin Airplay is a chart published weekly by ''Billboard'' magazine in the United States. It was established on October 20, 2012. This chart lists the 50 most-played songs on Spanish-language radio stations across the country as monitored by Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems (BDS) weighted to each station's Nielsen ratings. It is based on the Hot Latin Songs chart's former methodology prior to October 20, 2012 which was revamped afterwards to rank the best-performing Spanish-language songs based on streaming, digital downloads, and airplay from all radio stations in the US. Although the Latin Airplay was launched on October 20, 2012, it retroactively includes songs that ranked on the Hot Latin Songs since the issue dated November 12, 1994, which was when the ''Billboard'' began incorporating Nielsen BDS to the Hot Latin Songs chart methodology.
