Junior Poluleuligaga
Junior Poluleuligaga (born 5 February 1981) is a Samoan rugby union international player. He previously played for Exeter Chiefs in the Aviva Premiers before returning to Auckland and played two years with Auckland rugby union team before retiring 2015. He played as a Scrum-half and was educated at De La Salle College, Mangere East. His name is often abbreviated to Junior Polu. He is currently the Rugby Development Officer (RDO) for the Papatoetoe Rugby Football Club and occasionally plays for the La Salle Collegians old boys rugby team. Career So much of Junior Poluleuligaga's career depended on his great rival Steve So'oialo. Polu began his career by breaking into the North Harbour provincial side, he was spotted for the Samoan national team and in 2006 was selected to nationalise to play for his parents country, representing composite side Pacific Islanders as a Samoan, having been unwanted for the 2004 tour due to the presence of So'oialo. North Harbour Rugby Union
The North Harbour Rugby Union (NHRU), commonly known as North Harbour or simply Harbour, is the governing body of rugby union that encompasses a wide geographical area north of Auckland that includes North Shore City, Rodney District, the Hibiscus Coast and part of Waitakere City. There are 12 rugby clubs from Mahurangi RFC, based in Warkworth, Rodney District, in the north through to Massey the southernmost area of the union. The NHRU provincial rugby team that was formed in 1985 by clubs that left the Auckland Rugby Union. Asia Pacific Dragons
The Asia Pacific Dragons, also known as APDs, is a rugby union team based in Singapore that played in the Global Rapid Rugby Showcase Series of 2019. History The team is owned and managed by Carinat Sports Marketing based in Hong Kong. The team was founded in 2011 by bringing together the best players from the Pacific Islands and those with heritage in the Islands. It has subsequently focused on nurturing talent and promoting rugby. The team won its first match in Hong Kong against an invitational World XV to claim the inaugural Chartis Cup in 2011. The Asia Pacific Dragons successfully defended the cup against English club Saracens in 2012. Initially, the APDs played 15-a-side rugby, then expanded to play rugby sevens and rugby tens. Daniel Stuart Care (born 2 January 1987) is an English rugby union player who plays for Harlequins in the Premiership as a scrum-half. He has played for England national team since 2008 and has won 87 caps. He previously played for England in several youth age groups as well as England Sevens and England Saxons. Early career Care was born in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Mahonri Schwalger (born 15 September 1978) is a former Samoan professional rugby union footballer who last played in New Zealand for the Chiefs in the Super Rugby competition and for Counties Manukau in the National Provincial Championship. He captained the Samoan national team at the 2011 Rugby World Cup. Club career Born in Samoa, Schwalger moved to New Zealand in his youth and attended Waitakere College in Auckland.
