Jungheinrich AG is a German company active in the material handling equipment, warehousing and material flow engineering sectors. In these segments, the company is ranked in second place in Europe, and third in the world. History Friedrich Jungheinrich founded H. Jungheinrich & Co. Maschinenfabrik on 7 August 1953 in Hamburg. The first foreign branch was opened in Austria in 1956. In 1958, the company headquarters opened with a plant in Hamburg-Wandsbek. On 11 July 1960 Jungheinrich AG was founded as a Swiss subsidiary under the name "Ameise GmbH", headquartered in Aarau. A site in Friedrichsgabe in today’s Norderstedt was acquired in 1966 and production was gradually relocated from Hamburg to this site until 1984. The SDAX (German abbreviation for ''Small-Cap-deutsche Aktienindex'') is a stock market index composed of 70 small and medium-sized companies in Germany. These so-called ' small caps' rank directly below the MDAX (mid-cap) shares in terms of order book volume and market capitalization. They are thus the 91st–160th largest publicly traded companies in Germany. The index is based on prices generated in the electronic trading system Xetra. Companies 70 companies make up the index as of the quarterly review effective on 10 September 2020. Kaltenkirchen
(nicknamed ''Kaki''; nds, Koldenkarken or ''Kolenkarken'') is a town located 35 km north of Hamburg in Germany. It is part of the Segeberg district, in Schleswig-Holstein. It has about 20,000 inhabitants. History First mentioned in the 14th century, it flourished during the Industrial Revolution to accommodate the large number of workers in Hamburg. During World War II, a temporary airfield protected the northern towns from bombing raids, but during the raids on Hamburg the airfield was destroyed and never rebuilt. Only open fields now remain where it was. A concentration camp was established here from August 1944 to April 1945 as a subcamp to the Neuengamme concentration camp. About 700 prisoners died here. Moosburg an der Isar (Central Bavarian: ''Mooschbuag on da Isa'') is a town in the ''Landkreis'' Freising of Bavaria, Germany.
