Jump! (TV Series)
Jump! (跳浪) is a Singaporean Chinese drama which aired on MediaCorp Channel U in May 2012. It was aired on weekdays in the 10pm time slot. The series features Jeanette Aw, Zhang Zhenhuan, and Taiwan-based Singaporean singer Wong Jing Lun in his acting debut. Plot Xiao Chunli is a Chinese teacher at Blue Sky Secondary School, neighbourhood school notorious for its rock-bottom results and delinquency. Her efforts to help her students are hampered by Mr Yan, the school principal who cares more about KPIs than the students themselves. One of the teachers Xu Dele is a master with the skipping rope and he begins recruiting students to participate in a double Dutch competition. Much to Miss Xiao and Mr Xu's frustration, several of the more problematic students or those rejected by other CCAs are "dumped" into the team. Jeanette Aw
Jeanette Aw Ee-Ping (born 28 June 1979), better known by her stage name Ou Xuan (), is a Singaporean actress, filmmaker, businesswoman and writer. Aw was named as one of the Seven Princesses of Mediacorp in 2006, after which she achieved wider success with her leading role in acclaimed drama ''The Little Nyonya''. Cavin Soh
Cavin Soh (, born 17 November 1970) (苏智诚/苏志诚 Su Zhi Cheng previous name) is a Singaporean actor, host, watch dealer and singer. Career Soh used to be a lead singer in the band Dreamz FM (梦飞船) and a radio deejay on MediaCorp's Chinese language station Y.E.S. 93.3FM before switching to television and acting. In 2005, he won the Best Supporting Actor award for his portrayal of Zhou Daqiu, the antagonist, in ''Portrait of Home''. The Star Awards (Chinese: 红星大奖) are awards for artistic and technical merit in the media organisation Mediacorp of Singapore where Mediacorp recognises entertainers under their employment for outstanding performances of the year. The awards are given annually in a ceremony. The various category winners are awarded a trophy, with initial designs featuring various star shapes. Star Awards 2013 (Chinese: 红星大奖 2013) was a double television award ceremony held in Singapore. It is part of the annual Star Awards organised by MediaCorp for the two free-to-air channels, MediaCorp Channel 8 and MediaCorp Channel U. Star Awards 2013 was broadcast live on Channel 8, on 21 April 2013 and 28 April 2013. The first ceremony was held at the MediaCorp TV Theatre while the second ceremony was held at the Marina Bay Sands. The ceremonies were also broadcast on 8 International and the second ceremony on Astro AEC & Astro Quan Jia HD for the first time in HD. Ng Hui
Ng Hui (, born 22 July 1979) is a Singaporean former actress and television host. She was prominently a full-time Mediacorp artiste from 2000 to 2012. Biography Ng attended Jin Shan Primary School, Raffles Girls' Secondary School and Hwa Chong Junior College and graduated from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) with a degree in Communication Studies. Chen Guohua, born Tan Kok Hwa, is a Singaporean actor and contracted artiste under MediaCorp. Career Chen graduated from the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation 5th Year Artiste Training Class. Lina Ng
Lina Ng Su Fang (; born 6 May 1974) is a Singaporean actress and host. She was a full-time Mediacorp and SPH MediaWorks artiste from 1993 to 2004 but currently continues to film on an ad-hoc basis.
