Camacho (born February 20, 1943) is the current secretary general of the Wushu Federation of the Philippines (WFP), executive board member of the International Wushu Federation, and a former treasurer of the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC). The Philippine Olympic Committee Inc. (POC) is the National Olympic Committee of the Philippines. The POC is a private, non-governmental organization composed of and serve as the mother organization of all National Sports Associations (NSAs) in the Philippines. It is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as having the sole authority for representation of the Philippines in the Olympic Games, the Asian Games, the Southeast Asian Games and other multi-event competitions. The Wushu Federation of the Philippines (WFP) is the official national governing body for Wushu in the Philippines under the International Wushu Federation. The WFP is a regular member of Philippine Olympic Committee as NSA or National Sports Association. In 2008, the WFP was recognized as the "National Sports Association of the Year" by the Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) due to the impressive achievements of nanquan athlete Willy Wang at the 2007 World Wushu Championships and the 2008 Beijing Wushu Tournament. The International Wushu Federation (IWUF) is an international sport organization and is the governing body for wushu in all its forms worldwide. The IWUF is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), and is also a member of the ARISF, GAISF, FISU, IWGA, and the ISF. Organization The main governing bodies of the IWUF are the President and the Executive Board, the Secretariat, the Congress which meets every two years, and various technical committees. Philippines At The 2015 Southeast Asian Games
The Philippines competed at the 28th Southeast Asian Games from 5 to 16 June 2015. The Philippines contingent was composed of 472 athletes and 136 sporting officials participating in 35 out of the 36 sports. Preparation Singapore National Olympic Committee trimmed the number of "Traditional" sports and prioritized sports that are staged in the Olympics to increase the level of competition among nations in key sports. 24 of the 36 sports played in this edition will be Olympic Sports. Philippines were eyeing for a decent finish in this edition of the Southeast Asian Games after a dismal finish of 7th place, its worst finish since joining the biennial event. The 2015 Southeast Asian Games ( ms, Sukan Asia Tenggara 2015; ; ta, 2015 தென்கிழக்கு ஆசிய விளையாட்டுப் போட்டிகள்), officially known as the 28th Southeast Asian Games, or the 28th SEA Games, and commonly known as Singapore 2015, was a Southeast Asian multi-sport event held by the city-state of Singapore from 5 to 16 June 2015, It was the fourth time the country hosted the games.
