Julian Bugier
Julian Bugier (born November 22, 1980, in Blois, Loir-et-Cher), is a French TV journalist. After working for news channels BFM TV and i Télé; he presented, as a substitute, the 8 o'clock news on weekdays on France 2. Family Julian Bugier was born in 1980 in Blois (Loir-et-Cher). His father Jacques Bugier was a literary man and former journalist. His father worked at ''La République du Centre'' then at le ''Monde from'' 1991 to 2008. Close to François Bayrou, (he followed Francois' presidential campaign in 2007) and to Jack Lang, he died in June 2013 at the age of 59 years. Blois
Blois ( ; ) is a commune and the capital city of Loir-et-Cher department, in Centre-Val de Loire, France, on the banks of the lower Loire river between Orléans and Tours. Pierre Brossolette
Pierre Brossolette (25 June 1903 – 22 March 1944) was a French journalist, left-wing politician and major hero of the French Resistance in World War II. He ran an intelligence hub of Parisian resistance at the Rue de la Pompe, before serving as a liaison officer in London, where he also was a radio anchor for the BBC. Arrested in Brittany as he was trying to reach the UK on a mission back from France alongside Émile Bollaert, Brossolette was taken into custody by the ''Sicherheitsdienst''. He tried to commit suicide by jumping out of a window at their headquarters on 84 Avenue Foch in Paris as he feared he would reveal the lengths of French Resistance networks under torture. He died of his wounds at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital later that day. Panthéon
The Panthéon (, from the Classical Greek word , , ' empleto all the gods') is a monument in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, France. It stands in the Latin Quarter, atop the , in the centre of the , which was named after it. The edifice was built between 1758 and 1790, from designs by , at the behest of King Louis XV of France; the king intended it as a church dedicated to Saint Genevieve, Paris's patron saint, whose relics were to be housed in the church. Neither Soufflot nor Louis XV lived to see the church completed. By the time the construction was finished, the French Revolution had started; the National Constituent Assembly voted in 1791 to transform the Church of Saint Genevieve into a mausoleum for the remains of distinguished French citizens, modelled on the Pantheon in Rome which had been used in this way since the 16th century. 2012 French Presidential Election
Presidential elections in France, Presidential elections were held in France on 22 April 2012 (or 21 April in some overseas departments and territories), with a second round Two-round system, run-off held on 6 May (or 5 May for those same territories) to elect the President of France (who is also ''ex officio'' one of the Co-Princes of Andorra, two joint heads of state of Andorra, a sovereign state). Marie Drucker (born 3 December 1974) is a French journalist, author, television and radio personality. Early life The daughter of Jean Drucker, a French television executive, and a niece of Michel Drucker, a television journalist, she was educated at the Sorbonne, where she received a degree in modern literature. Her family is Jewish (from Romania, Austria, Poland, and Algeria). David Pujadas
David Pujadas (, , ; born 2 December 1964) is a French journalist and television host. A news presenter for TF1's LCI daily news programme, ''24H Pujadas,'' at 18:00 CET, he was an anchorman on France 2's weeknight newscast, ''Le Journal de 20 Heures'', at 20:00 CET, both in Metropolitan France. He has anchored these newscasts since September 2001, when he replaced Claude Sérillon, on orders from Olivier Mazerolle, the new France 2 news director. Laurent Delahousse (born 30 August 1969) is a French journalist and documentary filmmaker. He is best known for hosting the ''Journal de 20 heures'' news bulletin and ''Un jour, un destin'' biographical show, all on France 2.
