Iiro Rantala
Iiro Rantala (born 1970, in Helsinki) is a Finnish jazz pianist. He studied piano in the jazz department of Sibelius Academy and classical piano at the Manhattan School of Music. He is one of the best known Finnish jazz pianists, both in Finland and abroad. Rantala is a pianist and composer with Trio Töykeät, a Finnish jazz trio. In addition to jazz, he has composed some classical pieces, most notably the '' Concerto for Piano and Concerto in G♯ΔA♭''. Christine Sullivan (born in Hobart, Tasmania) is an Australian singer. Her early interest was in contemporary folk and rock idioms, but like her idol Joni Mitchell developed an interest in modern jazz, which she approaches in her own personal style. She moved to Melbourne in 1986, studying classical technique at the Melba Conservatorium, also with American soul, gospel and session vocalist, Venetta Fields. While working at the Limerick Arms in Melbourne in 1990, Christine was heard by British Jazz impresario Ronnie Scott, who invited her to perform at his famous club in London. Mouth Music is a Scottish-inspired musical project founded in 1988, whose combination of traditional Gaelic songs and music with contemporary instrumental and technological settings led them to international fame in the early 1990s. Nicolette (full name Nicolette Love Suwoton, born 1964) is a Scottish singer-songwriter of Nigerian parentage, residing in London for most of her life, and has also lived in Nigeria, Switzerland, France, and Belgium. Whirlpool Productions is a German house music project formed in 1991 from Cologne, consisting of musicians and producers Eric D. Clark, Justus Köhncke and Hans Nieswandt. Musical career Whirlpool Productions are known for their unique, experimental sound that shaped the style of bands like Sensorama or Egoexpress. Their disco hit "From Disco to Disco" was a big success. In summer 1997, it was a number 1 for 9 weeks in Italy. Jerry Ropero (born May 11, 1971 as Jerry Ropero Verlackt) is a Belgian-born Spanish house music Disc jockey, DJ, Record producer, producer, songwriter and publisher. Ropero is a son of Paco Paco, who scored a hit in 1973 with "Taka Taka Tá" and grandchild of Al Verlane, a Belgian jazz musician. He is the older brother of Timmy Ropero, also a musician in Spain.
