Jerry Ropero
Jerry Ropero (born May 11, 1971 as Jerry Ropero Verlackt) is a Belgian-born Spanish house music Disc jockey, DJ, Record producer, producer, songwriter and publisher. Ropero is a son of Paco Paco, who scored a hit in 1973 with "Taka Taka Tá" and grandchild of Al Verlane, a Belgian jazz musician. He is the older brother of Timmy Ropero, also a musician in Spain. Early career Ropero's career began in the 1990s in Belgium, when he joined the group Natural Born Grooves. He released his first two tracks under his own name, "All Over" and "Drive", in 1996. His earliest mainstream success came in 1999, when he released, together with DJ Maui and Terri Bjerre aka Terri B!- known together as Avant Garde, the track Get Down, which peaked at position 12 in Billboard (magazine), Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play chart, and stayed on that chart for 13 weeks. Tom Novy (born Thomas Reichold) is a DJ and producer from Munich, Germany. Biography Tom Novy lived in Munich in his youth and attended the Luitpold Gymnasium in Munich. In the mid-1980s he started to DJ and got his first residency at the Babalu Club. Novy started producing music in 1994 when he signed for the Munich-based record label Kosmo Records with his first record "I House U", a cover of the Jungle Brothers' "I'll House You", with lyrics by Novy. Ian Harshman (September 13, 1975 – August 19, 2021), better known by his stage name Ian Carey, was an American house DJ, musician, and record producer based in Miami, Florida. Biography Carey grew up in Hancock, Maryland, graduating from Hancock Middle-Senior High School in 1993. His father was a live sound engineer and ran a sound reinforcement company; he had engineered for such groups as Kool & The Gang and The Duke Ellington Orchestra.
