Juli Kishan
Juli Kishan (born 8 May 1999) is an Indian professional footballer from Odisha, who plays as a defender for Odisha FC in the Indian Women's League and the India women's national football team. She has also played for Odisha Police and East Coast Railways. Early life Juli was born in Rourkela to Yogeshwar Kishan. She started playing football in 2016 with Young Association Club in Kuarmunda village. Former player and coach Gitanjali Khuntia spotted her at the U-19 Odisha State camp. She was appointed as a constable by Odisha State Police in June 2021. Rourkela
Rourkela is a planned city located in the northern district Sundargarh of Odisha, India. It is the third-largest Urban Agglomeration in Odisha after Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (Chennai)
Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (also known as the Marina Arena) is a multi-purpose stadium in Chennai, India. It has a capacity to seat 40,000 people. It hosts football matches and athletic competitions. The complex also houses a multipurpose indoor stadium with a seating capacity of 5,000 which hosts volleyball, basketball, table tennis games. The stadium is also used for functions and concerts. The Odisha Women's League (OWL), previously known as the FAO Women's League, is the women's top division football league of Odisha. The league is among the existing top tier women's football leagues in India. 2023–24 Indian Women's League
The 2023–24 Indian Women's League was the seventh season of the Indian Women's League, the top division women's professional football league in India. Odisha won their maiden Indian Women's League title by winning their last league match of the season. Format The season is played in a double round-robin format, with each club playing the other twice, once at home and once away, for a total of 12 matches. It is the first IWL season to be played on a home and away basis, as so far the preceding seasons have been held at a centralised venue. Qualification The teams were awarded direct qualification for the 2023–24 season, which qualified for the knockout round and finished in the top eight positions in the 2022–23 season. Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar (; ) is the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Odisha.
