Juan Pablo Suazo Euceda
Juan Pablo Suazo Euceda (born 1972 in Catacamas) is a Honduran author and agricultural engineer. He has spent more than ten years working in the La Mosquitia, a jungle region in north eastern Honduras. His first published work was ''Percepción y uso de la vida silvestre'' while his second book, a novel called ''Segovia'', published in 2008, and named after the river of the same name found in La Mosquitia, won the 2008 Hibuera literary prize. He published a second book called ''Yalas en el mundo de Walamsa'', is another novel based on the River Patuca, also in La Mosquitia region. Catacamas
Catacamas is a city, with a population of 59,990 (2020 calculation), and a municipality in the Olancho Department of Honduras. It is the largest municipality in Central America in terms of area. Overview Catacamas, called the ''Florida City'' by the great poet and writer Froylán Turcios, extends over a vast plain irrigated by the Rio Guayape in the heart of the luxuriant department of Olancho. The city is situated 210 km. north-east of the Honduran capital, Tegucigalpa, and is easily accessible by paved road. Honduras

La Mosquitia is the easternmost part of Honduras along the Mosquito Coast, which extends into northeastern Nicaragua.
