Juan Herreros
Juan Herreros (born 1958 in San Lorenzo del Escorial) is a Spanish architect. His work promotes a pragmatic review of the tradition of modern architecture. Biography He graduated in 1985 at the Technical School of Architecture of Madrid where after being professor of construction until 1988 he became professor of Architectural Design obtaining his PhD in 1994 and the title of Professor in 2010. Since 2007 teaches at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation in New York where he holds the rank of Professor in Professional Practice. He has also taught at American universities of Princeton in New Jersey, Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago; and European Architectural Association in London, EPFL Lausanne, Ljubljana and Alicante. San Lorenzo de El Escorial, also known as El Escorial de Arriba, is a town and municipality in the Community of Madrid, Spain, located to the northwest of the region in the southeastern side of the Sierra de Guadarrama, at the foot of Mount Abantos and , from Madrid. The settlement is popularly called El Escorial de Arriba, to differentiate it from the neighbouring village of El Escorial, also known as El Escorial de Abajo. His work often addresses social, political and communications issues through different media: such as photography, video, text and image publications, the Internet, and multi-media installations. Daniel Graham (March 31, 1942 – February 19, 2022) was an American visual artist, writer, and curator in the writer-artist tradition. In addition to his visual works, he published a large array of critical and speculative writing that spanned the spectrum from heady art theory essays, reviews of rock music, Dwight D. Eisenhower's paintings, and Dean Martin's television show. His early magazine-based art predates, but is often associated with, conceptual art.
