Jozef Kabaň
Jozef Kabaň (born 4 January 1973) is a Slovak automobile designer. He started his career as a designer at Volkswagen. In 2003 he moved to Audi as an exterior design assistant. In 2007 he advanced to the position of Chief of Exterior Design at Audi. He was exterior designer of the Volkswagen Lupo, SEAT Arosa, Bugatti Veyron and Škoda Octavia. He has been Chief of Exterior Design at Škoda Auto since 2008. In early 2017 he left Škoda for BMW to become its head of design replacing Karim Habib. In 2019 he changed position within BMW Group and headed design at its subsidiary Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. After half a year he decided to leave Rolls-Royce and BMW Group returning to VW in January 2020, this time for its main VW brand. Námestovo
Námestovo ( hu, Námesztó; pl, Namiestów) is a town in northern Slovakia. It is the capital and largest town of Námestovo District in the Žilina Region. its population was 7,827. Etymology The name is derived from a word ''námesta'' (a representative, a deputy; like modern Slovak ''námestník'' or Czech ''náměstek'') referring to a representative of Vlach settlers whose seat was in Námestovo. The Academy of Fine Arts and Design, Bratislava (AFAD; sk, Vysoká škola výtvarných umení v Bratislave, VŠVU) is an academy in Bratislava, Slovakia. It was founded in 1949 at the dawn of totalitarian regime in the former Czechoslovak Socialist Republic. Karim Antoine Habib (born 1970) is a Canadian automotive designer of Lebanese descent, currently Executive Vice President and Head of Kia global design for the Korean vehicle manufacturer Kia. He previously worked for BMW and Infiniti. He is fluent in Arabic, English, French, German, and Italian. Career Born in Lebanon, Habib had to leave the country due to the ensueing civil war and moved to Canada in his teenage years, and was educated at McGill University, as well as Transportation Design at the Art Center College of Design.
