Joyce Cavalccante is a Brazilian author of seven novels, plus several short stories and articles that today appear in eight anthologies. Cavalccante's writings focus on the plight of women in Brazil who live to pray, marry and die. She is the president of REBRA Rebra ( hu, Nagyrebra) is a commune in Bistrița-Năsăud County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of a single village, Rebra.
