Joven Alba
Joven Alba (born 24 August 1969) is a Filipino professional pool and snooker player. Alba was a professional pool player between 2009 and 2013, and having played snooker beforehand. Alba's biggest accomplishment was winning the team snooker event at the 2005 Southeast Asian Games. Alongside partners Leonardo Andam and Alex Pagulayan the Filipino team defeated Thailand team of Nitiwat Kanjanjanasri, Phaithoon Phonbun and Supoj Saenla in the final. In pool, Alba reached the quarter-finals of both the 2010 and 2011 WPA World Eight-ball Championships, losing to Darren Appleton Darren Appleton (born 8 February 1976) is an English pool player, best known for playing Eight-ball, Nine-ball and Ten-ball pool.

9-Ball
Nine-ball (sometimes written 9-ball) is a discipline of the cue sport pool. The game's origins are traceable to the 1920s in the United States. It is played on a rectangular billiard table with at each of the four corners and in the middle of each long side. Supoj Saenla
Supoj Saenla (born August 15, 1980) is a former Thai professional snooker player who lives in Chiang Mai. Career Saenla joined the professional tour for the first time in 2003 by winning the 2001 Asian U-21 Championship. He was relegated after the 2004/05 season. In 2007, he earned his place back by winning the 2007 Asian Championship. He beat India's Yasin Merchant Yasin Merchant, born 17 December 1966 is India's second professional snooker player. The 2010 WPA World Eight-ball Championship was an eight-ball world championship, organized by the World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA), and held 4–10 April 2010 at the Fujairah Exhibition Centre of the Al Diar Siji Hotel in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. A total of 64 players competed in the tournament. The event was won by Englishman Karl Boyes, who defeated Niels Feijen in the final 13–12. Tournament summary The event was split into two sections, a double elimination round, splitting the field from 64 to 32, and then a traditional knockout round.
