José Neto (footballer)
José António Conceiçāo Neto (5 October 1935 – 6 July 1999) was a Portuguese footballer who played as a defensive midfielder for Benfica. He was part of their European Cup victories in the 1960–61 and 1961–62 campaigns. Montijo, Portugal
Montijo () is a municipality in Setúbal District in Portugal. Its name was Aldeia Galega do Ribatejo or simply Aldeia Galega until 1930. The population in 2021 was 55,732, in an area of 348.62 km2. The town of Montijo proper had a population of 25,719 in 2001. It is one of the few municipalities in Portugal without territorial continuity; that is, its component parts are not conjoined. It is located in the Lisbon metropolitan area. History Montijo was known as Aldeia Galega until July 6, 1930, in spite of the fact that it was a small town and no longer a village. It was elevated to city status on August 14, 1985. Paleolithic vestiges of human settlement suggest that the region was occupied into the pre-history. Taça De Portugal
The Taça de Portugal (; "Cup of Portugal") is an annual association football competition and the premier knockout tournament in Portuguese football. For sponsorship reasons, it has been known as Taça de Portugal Placard since the 2015–16 season. Organised by the Portuguese Football Federation since it was first held in 1938, the competition is open to professional and amateur clubs from the top-four league divisions. Matches are played from August–September to May–June, and the final is traditionally held at the Estádio Nacional in Oeiras, near Lisbon. The 1961 Intercontinental Cup was a football match between Uruguayan club Peñarol, winners of the 1961 Copa Libertadores, and Portuguese club Benfica, winners of the 1960–61 European Cup. The 1963–64 Taça de Portugal was the 24th edition of the Portuguese football knockout tournament, organized by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). The 1963–64 Taça de Portugal began on 22 September 1963. The final was played on 5 July 1964 at the Estádio Nacional. Sporting CP were the previous holders, having defeated Vitória de Guimarães 4–0 in the previous season's final.
