José Manuel Flores Sánchez (born September 25, 1986, in Caracas) is a Venezuelan model who was selected Mister Venezuela in 2009. Flores was also a rugby player and graduated from Business Management, majoring in Finance & Banking, with a minor in Globalization in the Universidad Metropolitana, in Caracas. He stands 195 cm (6'5"). Flores was the Venezuelan delegate for the Mister World 2010 Mister World 2010 was the 6th edition of the Mister World competition. Caracas (, ), officially Santiago de León de Caracas, abbreviated as CCS, is the capital and largest city of Venezuela, and the center of the Metropolitan Region of Caracas (or Greater Caracas). The Capital District ( es, Distrito Capital) is a federal district of Venezuela. It has an area of 433 km2 and there is only one administrative division (''municipio''), Libertador, which contains about half of Caracas, the Venezuelan capital city, which is also the seat of the three branches of the federal government of Venezuela. Mister Venezuela
Mister Venezuela is an annual male pageant held in Venezuela. The winner and finalists from the contest go on to represent Venezuela in many international pageants. The Mister Venezuela pageant was started under the guardianship of Osmel Sousa and María Kallay with the intent of creating a male contest with the same discipline, quality and success as its female counterpart (Miss Venezuela). The first contest was held on July 17, 1996 and the winner was contestant number 20, José Gregorio Faría. In the fifth edition, aired November 22, 2000, 26 men represented every state and region in Venezuela; they wore scarfs rather than the sashes used in female pageants. Due to political issues in 2002, the seventh pageant was postponed and held in 2003. Rugby football is the collective name for the team sports of rugby union and rugby league. Mister World 2010 was the 6th edition of the Mister World competition. It was held at Songdo Convensia in Incheon, South Korea on March 27, 2010. 74 delegates competed from all around the world. Juan García Postigo of Spain crowned Kamal Ibrahim of Ireland at the end of the event. Introduction For the first time, South Korea debuted in the contest and host the Mister World pageant from March 11 to March 27, 2010. Julia Morley said "I am so delighted that we will have the opportunity to showcase the beautiful country of Korea to the rest of the world as our contestants battle it out to find the world's most desirable man".
