José Gomes (football Manager)
José Manuel Martins Teixeira Gomes (born 28 August 1970) is a Portuguese professional football manager, currently in charge of Egyptian Premier League club Zamalek. He managed Paços de Ferreira, União de Leiria, Rio Ave, Marítimo and Chaves in the Primeira Liga, while also working in Hungary, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, England, Spain and Egypt. Football career Early career Born in Matosinhos, Gomes started coaching in his early 20s, beginning with the youth teams of Clube Futebol de Valadares. He also worked as an assistant at F.C. Paços de Ferreira and S.C. Covilhã. From 1998 to 2003, Gomes worked as a fitness coach with Gil Vicente FC, Paços and S.L. Benfica. He started 2003–04 as manager of Paços in the Primeira Liga, and was fired after seven losses in the first eight games; the club's season eventually ended in relegation. The Egyptian Premier League ( ar, الدوري المصري الممتاز), also known as WE Egyptian Premier League (WE EPL) after the addition of title sponsor WE, is a professional association football league in Egypt and the top level of the Egyptian football league system. The 2013–14 Nemzeti Bajnokság I, also known as NB I, was the 112th season of top-tier football in Hungary. The league is officially named ''OTP Bank Liga'' for sponsorship reasons. The Nemzeti Bajnokság (, "National Championship"), also known as NB I, is the top level of the Hungarian football league system. The league is officially named OTP Bank Liga after its title sponsor OTP Bank. UEFA currently ranks the league 28th in Europe. Twelve teams compete in the league, playing each other three times, once at home, once away, and the third match is played at the stadium that the last match was not played at. At the end of the season, the top team enters the qualification for the UEFA Champions League, while the runner-up and the third place, together with the winner of the Magyar Kupa enter the UEFA Europa Conference League qualification rounds. Paulo Sousa
Paulo Manuel Carvalho de Sousa, CavIH (; born 30 August 1970) is a Portuguese football manager and former professional player who played as a defensive midfielder. Starting his career at Benfica, he also represented Sporting CP in his country, where he amassed Primeira Liga totals of 117 matches and three goals in five years. From there onwards, he competed mainly in Italy and in Germany, winning the Champions League with Juventus and Borussia Dortmund and the Intercontinental Cup with the latter side. Manuel Jesualdo Ferreira (born 24 May 1946) is a Portuguese football manager. He is currently the manager of Zamalek in the Egyptian Premier League. In a managerial career of over forty years, he was in charge of all of his country's Big Three and had his greatest successes at Porto, where he became the first manager to win three consecutive Primeira Liga titles and also lifted the Taça de Portugal twice. The Liga Portugal 2 (), also known as Liga Portugal 2 SABSEG for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest division of the Portuguese football league system. At the end of each season, the two top-finishing teams are promoted to the top-tier Primeira Liga and the two lowest-ranked teams are relegated to the third-tier league.
