José Domingo Molina Gómez
José Domingo Molina Gómez (26 September 1896 – 5 April 1969) was the Commander and Chief of the Argentine Army who appears to have temporarily taken "the reins of Government" on September 19, 1955. This was following the Revolución Libertadora which had begun on September 16, 1955. Eduardo Lonardi would eventually be recognized as the ''de facto'' President of Argentina on September 23, 1955. Grandson of former president of Argentina Nicolás Avellaneda Biography Born in San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca on September 26, 1896, was the son of Daniel Molina Avellaneda and Melitona Gómez. Nicolás Avellaneda
Nicolás Remigio Aurelio Avellaneda Silva (3 October 1837 – 24 November 1885) was an Argentine politician and journalist, and President of Argentina from 1874 to 1880. Avellaneda's main projects while in office were banking and education reform, leading to Argentina's economic growth. The most important events of his government were the Conquest of the Desert and the transformation of the Buenos Aires into a federal district. His grandson was José Domingo Molina Gómez, who took presidency when Juan Perón was captured. Eduardo Lonardi
Eduardo Ernesto Lonardi Doucet (; September 15, 1896 – March 22, 1956) was an Argentine Lieutenant General and served as de facto president from September 23 to November 13, 1955. Biography Lonardi was born on September 15, 1896. Lonardi was appointed military attache to Chile during the presidency of Ramón Castillo in 1942, but shortly afterwards he was declared "persona non grata" by the Chilean government on accusations of espionage.
