José Claramunt
José Claramunt Torres (born 10 July 1946) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a midfielder. He played solely for Valencia, competing in 12 La Liga seasons and appearing in 381 official games (83 goals scored). Club career Born in Puçol, Valencian Community, Claramunt spent his entire career with local club Valencia CF. He made his La Liga debut on 11 September 1966 in a 1–0 away win against Deportivo de La Coruña, and scored his first goal in the competition on 27 November in a 3–0 home victory over Sevilla FC. Claramunt scored three goals in 30 games in the 1970–71 campaign to help the ''Che'' win the national championship, including one in a 2–0 win at FC Barcelona on 31 October 1970. Additionally, during his spell, the side appeared in four Copa del Rey finals – losing three in a row from 1970 to 1972 – and he opened the scoring in the 1971 edition against Barcelona, netting from a penalty kick but in a 3–4 extra-time defeat. Puçol
Puçol (; es, Puzol) is a Spanish municipality located in the province of Valencia, part of the Valencian Community autonomous region. It belongs to the Horta Nord. The municipality borders El Puig south and Sagunt (or Sagunto) to the north. It has 19,975 inhabitants (01/01/2021), of whom 9,839 are men and 10,136 are women (according to INE). Penalty Kick (association Football)
A penalty kick (commonly known as a penalty or a spot kick) is a method of restarting play in association football, in which a player is allowed to take a single shot at the goal while it is defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. It is awarded when an offence punishable by a direct free kick is committed by a player in their own penalty area. The shot is taken from the penalty mark, which is 11 m (12 yards) from the goal line and centred between the touch lines. Apostolos Nikolaidis Stadium ( el, Γήπεδο Απόστολος Νικολαΐδης), commonly known as Leoforos Alexandras Stadium or Leoforos Stadium, is a football stadium and multi-sport center in Athens, Greece. Amancio Amaro Varela, (born 16 October 1939), commonly known simply as Amancio, is a Spanish former football player. Nicknamed ''El Brujo'' (The Magician) he played outside right for Deportivo de La Coruña, Real Madrid, and the Spain national team. Listed below are the dates and results for the 1974 FIFA World Cup qualification rounds for the European zone (UEFA). The European zone was allocated 9.5 places (out of 16) in the final tournament. West Germany, the hosts, qualified automatically, leaving 8.5 spots open for competition between 32 teams. 1974 FIFA World Cup
The 1974 FIFA World Cup was the tenth FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial football tournament for men's senior national teams, and was played in West Germany (and West Berlin) between 13 June and 7 July. The tournament marked the first time that the current trophy, the FIFA World Cup Trophy, created by the Italian sculptor Silvio Gazzaniga, was awarded. The previous trophy, the Jules Rimet Trophy, had been won for the third time by Brazil in 1970 and awarded permanently to the Brazilians. This was the first out of three World Cups to feature two rounds of group stages. West Germany won the title, beating the Netherlands 2–1 in the final at the Olympiastadion in Munich. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. In the early days of football, the concept of each team wearing a set of matching shirts had not been universally adopted, so each side would distinguish itself from the other by wearing a specific sort of cap.
