José Butrón
José Antonio Butrón Oliva (born 27 January 1991) is a Spanish professional Motocross racer. Butrón competed in the Motocross World Championship from 2008 to 2021, finishing third in the final standings of the MX2 class in the 2013 FIM Motocross World Championship. After taking a step back from full-time world championship competition after the 2021 season, Butrón won the 2022 European Motocross Championship in the EMXOpen class. Butrón has represented Spain at the Motocross des Nations on ten separate occasions. In addition to this, he is one of the most successful riders in the history of the Spanish Motocross Championship, winning nine senior titles and six junior titles. He became Czech Motocross Champion in 2021 and has more recently spent time riding in the AMA Motocross Championship, as well as in Venezuela, following the conclusion of his fulltime world championship career. The 2018 Motocross des Nations was a motocross race held on 6 October and 7 October 2018. The event was held at the Red Bud circuit, in Michigan, United States. Motocross des Nations was last held in United States in 2010 but never at this venue. France went into the event as the defending champions after taking their fifth title in 2017 and successfully defended their title. Harri Kullas
Harri Kullas (born 1 March 1992) is a Finnish-born Estonian professional motocross racer. Kullas has had a long international career that has seen him compete in the FIM Motocross World Championship in both the MX2 and MXGP classes. Kullas has competed at the Motocross des Nations 13 times, on the first four occasions for Finland and since 2014 for Estonia. As part of this, Kullas has been part of the Estonia teams that have recorded the highest overall finish ever for the nation – a pair of fourth places in 2015 and 2019. Alongside this, Kullas has competed extensively in various national championships across Europe. In the UK-based MX Nationals series Kullas has taken the MX1 title three times as well as winning the overall Pro Fastest 40 ranking in 2022. The 2016 Motocross des Nations is a motocross race to be held on 24 September and 25 September 2016 in Maggiora, Italy. Preview The Motocross des Nations travels to Italy this year for the first time since 2009 and will visit the Maggiora track for the first time since 1986. France are the defending champions having won their third title, on home soil in 2015.
