Joshua Gilbert
Joshua Gilbert (born 23 September 1993) is a Bermudian cricketer. Gilbert is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm off break. He was born in Bermuda. In 2010, Gilbert made his debut for Bermuda in a first-class match against the United Arab Emirates in the 2009-10 Intercontinental Shield at the National Stadium, Hamilton. He scored seven runs in this match, as well as taking three wickets, those of Arshad Ali, Khurram Khan and Saqib Ali, for the cost of 85 runs from 23 overs in the United Arab Emirates first-innings. Following the match he made his List A debut against the same opponents, taking figures of 4/47 in the match, as well as making his Twenty20 debut against the same opposition following this match. He was selected as part of Bermuda's squad for the World Twenty20 Qualifier. The 2012 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier was played in early 2012 as a part of ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier series. This edition of the qualifier for the 2012 ICC World Twenty20 was an expanded version comprising ten qualifiers from regional Twenty20 tournaments, in addition to the six ODI/Twenty20 status countries. Saqib Ali (cricketer)
Saqib Ali (born 14 April 1978) is a former Pakistani-born cricketer who played for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team from 2006 to 2015, including in five One Day International (ODI) matches. He captained them to the ICC World Cricket League Division Two title in 2007. Born in Multan, Saqib emigrated from Pakistan to the UAE in 1997, finding employment with NMC Health. Khurram Khan
Khurram Khan (born 21 June 1971) is a Pakistani-born cricketer who played for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. In 2014, Khurram became the oldest player to score an ODI hundred as his unbeaten 132 helped his team to a six-wicket victory over Afghanistan in Dubai. He is regarded as the best cricketer to play for the United Arab Emirates. Career Khan has been playing for the UAE since 2001 when he turned out for the team at the 2001 ICC Trophy in Canada, where he played ten games over the course of the two-week tournament. Bermuda National Sports Centre is a multi-purpose sports complex in Devonshire Parish, Bermuda, just to the east of the capital, Hamilton. Off Break
Off spin is a type of finger spin bowling in cricket. A bowler who uses this technique is called an off spinner. Off spinners are right-handed spin bowlers who use their fingers to spin the ball. Their normal delivery is an off break, which spins from left to right (from the bowler's perspective) when the ball bounces on the pitch. For a right-handed batsman, this is from his off side to the leg side (that is, towards the right-handed batsman, or away from a left-handed batsman).
