Josh Pierson
Joshua Pierson (born February 14, 2006) is an American racing driver. He currently competes in Indy NXT for HMD Motorsports, the FIA World Endurance Championship for United Autosport, and in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship for TDS Racing. He previously competed in the U.S. F2000 National Championship with Pabst Racing. Career FIA World Endurance Championship On August 17, 2021, United Autosports announced that it had signed Pierson to compete in the 2022 FIA World Endurance Championship. This will make Pierson the youngest ever driver to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 2022, Pierson made his debut in the series and managed to win the 1000 Miles of Sebring, making him the youngest ever FIA World Endurance Championship race winner. 2023 FIA World Endurance Championship
The 2023 FIA World Endurance Championship will be the eleventh season of the FIA World Endurance Championship, an auto racing series organised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO). The series is open to prototype and grand tourer-style racing cars divided into three categories. World Championship titles will be awarded to the leading manufacturers and drivers in both the prototype and grand tourer divisions. It is the first season in which LMDh (Le Mans Daytona h) entries will be allowed to compete in the Hypercar category for championship points alongside LMH (Le Mans Hypercar) entries, after being permitted on a race-by-race basis in 2022. PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports is an American sports car racing team that currently competes in the LMP2 class of the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. History American Le Mans Series PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports began entering the series with the advent of the LMPC class in 2010, fielding a full-time entry for a revolving door of drivers. The 2022 Asian Le Mans Series was the tenth season of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest's Asian Le Mans Series. It is the fourth 24 Hours of Le Mans-based series created by the ACO, following the American Le Mans Series (since merged with the Rolex Sports Car Series to form the United SportsCar Championship), the European Le Mans Series and the FIA World Endurance Championship. The 2023 Firestone Indy NXT Series season is the 21st season of the primary support series for the IndyCar Series, sanctioned by IndyCar.
