Joseph Wallace (animator)
Joseph Wallace is a BAFTA Cymru-nominated film and animation director based in the UK. He uses stop-motion animation, stop-motion puppet and cut-out animation techniques to produce short films and music videos. Life and career Wallace grew up in Bristol and developed an interest in animation through short films made by Aardman Animations, the Bristol-based studio known for its stop-motion clay animation techniques. He studied at Newport Film School, receiving a BAFTA Cymru nomination in the "Short Form & Animation" category for his graduation film, ''The Man Who Was Afraid of Falling'', in 2012. He was then made a BBC Performing Arts Fellow in 2015 and included in a list of 32 "Ones to Watch". Edgar Howard Wright (born 18 April 1974) is an English filmmaker. He is known for his fast-paced and kinetic, satirical genre films, which feature extensive utilisation of expressive popular music, Steadicam tracking shots, dolly zooms and a signature editing style that includes transitions, whip pans and wipes. He began making independent short films before making his first feature film ''A Fistful of Fingers'' in 1995. Wright created and directed the comedy series ''Asylum'' in 1996, written with David Walliams. The COVID-19 pandemic, also known as the coronavirus pandemic, is an ongoing global pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Peter Lord
Peter Lord CBE (born 1953) is an English animator, director, producer and co-founder of the Academy Award-winning Aardman Animations studio, an animation firm best known for its clay-animated films and shorts, particularly those featuring plasticine duo Wallace and Gromit. He also directed ''Chicken Run'' along with Nick Park, and ''The Pirates! Band of Misfits'' which was nominated for Best Animated Feature at the 85th Academy Awards. ''Salvation Has No Name'' is a 2022 stop motion animated short, written and directed by Joseph Wallace. Told through a dynamic mixture of color and black with a dramatic narrative and international all-female voice cast, it is a unique animated film which explores themes of xenophobia and the refugee crisis. The film features the voices of Itziar Ituño (Netflix's Money Heist) and Yasmine Al Massri (ABC's Quantico). The short is produced by Loran Dunn for Delaval Film and Exec Produced by Maisie Williams and Lowri Roberts through their company RAPT and co-produced by Autour de Minuit in France and Animation People in Czech Republic. Hot Hot Heat is a Canadian indie rock band from Victoria, British Columbia, formed in 1999. The band was signed by Seattle label Sub Pop in 2001 and released its first EP, ''Knock Knock Knock'', and first full-length album, '' Make Up the Breakdown'', the following year. The band released five full-length albums, the last being the self-titled ''Hot Hot Heat'' in 2016. The band's style makes use of electronic and traditional instruments and has variously been categorized as dance-punk, post-punk revival, new wave, and art-punk.
