Joseph Ture Jr.
Joseph Donald Ture Jr. (born February 7, 1951) is an American serial killer and kidnapper who was convicted of murdering six people and perpetrating numerous rapes in Minnesota between 1978 and 1980. He is currently serving six life sentences at Minnesota Correctional Facility – Stillwater in Bayport, Minnesota. Early life Joseph Donald Ture Jr. was born on February 7, 1951, in St. Paul, Minnesota. His parents divorced when he was 10, and his father won custody of him, though he was primarily raised in an orphanage. In his late teens, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps, but stayed for only about six months before returning to the St. Paul area, where he held many low-skilled jobs. "Diane" is a song by American band Hüsker Dü for their ''Metal Circus'' EP in 1983. The song was written by drummer Grant Hart, and concerns the murder of West Saint Paul, Minnesota, St. Paul waitress Diane Edwards by Joseph Ture Jr. in 1980. Therapy? version Northern Irish metal band Therapy? covered the song and released it as a single on November 6, 1995, on A&M Records. The song is featured on the ''Infernal Love'' album in a radically different arrangement from the original, featuring only cello and vocals. The single reached number 26 in the UK Singles Chart, and number 20 in the Irish Singles Chart. Hüsker Dü
Hüsker Dü () was an American punk rock band formed in Saint Paul, Minnesota, in 1979. The band's continual members were guitarist/vocalist Bob Mould, bassist/vocalist Greg Norton, and drummer/vocalist Grant Hart. They first gained notability as a hardcore punk band, and later crossed over into alternative rock. Mould and Hart were the band's principal songwriters, with Hart's higher-pitched vocals and Mould's baritone taking the lead in alternating songs. The band issued their debut studio album ''Everything Falls Apart'' on Reflex Records in 1983 and subsequently released three LPs and an EP on the independent label SST Records, including the critically acclaimed '' Zen Arcade'' in 1984. ''Cold Case Files'' is a reality legal show/ documentary on the cable channel A&E Network and the rebooted series on Netflix. It is hosted by Bill Kurtis and the original series produced by Tom Golden. Alibi
An alibi (from the Latin, '' alibī'', meaning "somewhere else") is a statement by a person, who is a possible perpetrator of a crime, of where they were at the time a particular offence was committed, which is somewhere other than where the crime took place.
