Joseph Rwegasira
Joseph Clemence Rwegasira (March 21, 1935 – March 4, 2016) was a Tanzanian politician and diplomat. Rwegasira, a former member of the National Assembly for Nkenge Constituency, served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1993 to 1995. He also held the government portfolios of Minister for Trade and Industry and Minister for Labour and Youth Development at various times during his political career. He had also served as a Regional Commissioner for Dar es Salaam at one time. Rwegasira had served as Tanzania's Ambassador to neighboring Zambia. Rwegasira died at Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH) in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on March 4, 2016, at the age of 80. Kagera Region (''Mkoa wa Kagera'' in Swahili) is one of Tanzania's 31 administrative regions. The region covers an area of . The region is comparable in size to the combined land area of the nation state of Netherlands. Kagera Region is bordered to the east by Lake Victoria, Mwanza Region and Mara Region. Ahmed Hassan Diria
Ahmed Hassan Diria (July 13, 1937 – March 13, 2005) was a Somali Tanzanian politician and diplomat. He was born in Raha Leo, Zanzibar and was educated in local primary and secondary schools. He started working in government service in 1954, with a three-year period of study at the College of Philosophy in Ghana. Following the Zanzibar Revolution of 1964, he was appointed the area commissioner for Pemba. He remained in this position until 1965, when he joined the Tanzanian foreign service. He was the ambassador to Congo from 1970 to 1972; the high commissioner of New Delhi, India from 1971 to 1978; the ambassador to Japan from 1979 to 1984; and the ambassador to Germany in 1984. After his foreign service, he moved back to Tanzania to become a member of parliament and held various positions as minister.
