Joseph Pulley
Sir Joseph Pulley, 1st Baronet, (8 September 1822 – 5 August 1901), was an English Liberal politician. Pulley was the son of Joseph Pulley of Bayswater and his wife Fanny Oldaker. He was a J. P. and Deputy Lieutenant for Herefordshire. Pulley stood unsuccessfully for parliament at Hereford in 1874 and 1878 and was elected Member of Parliament for the constituency in 1880. He held the seat until 1886. Pulley was created baronet of Lower Eaton, Hereford, in 1893. He died at the age of 78 without issue and the baronetcy became extinct. George Arbuthnot (politician)
Col. George Arbuthnot of Norton Court, Gloucester, DL JP MP (9 January 1836 – 26 December 1912) was a British politician. Life Born in Madras, British India, he was the son of John Alves Arbuthnot of Coworth Park, Old Windsor, Sunningdale, Berkshire, and wife and cousin Mary Arbuthnot. Arbuthnot was Member of Parliament for Hereford from 1871 to 1874 and from 1878 to 1880. He served in the Royal Horse Artillery, reaching the rank of colonel, and was Justice of Peace of Herefordshire and Gloucestershire, and Deputy Lieutenant for Herefordshire. Joseph Russell Bailey, 1st Baron Glanusk (7 April 1840 – 6 January 1906), known as Sir Joseph Bailey, 2nd Baronet, from 1858 to 1899, was a Welsh Conservative Member of Parliament. Life Born at Leamington Spa, he was the son of Joseph Bailey, eldest son of the ironmaster Sir Joseph Bailey, 1st Baronet, and his wife, the eldest daughter of William Congreve Russell. George Clive DL JP (October 1805 – 8 June 1880) was a British barrister, magistrate and Liberal politician. Background and education A member of the Clive (now Herbert) family headed by the Earl of Powis, George Clive was a younger son of Edward Clive and great-grandson of Reverend Benjamin Clive, uncle of Robert Clive, 1st Baron Clive ("Clive of India"). His mother was the Hon. Harriett, daughter of Andrew Archer, 2nd Baron Archer. He was educated at Harrow and Brasenose College, Oxford, and was called to the Bar, Lincoln's Inn, in 1830. Robert Reid, 1st Earl Loreburn
Robert Threshie Reid, 1st Earl Loreburn, (3 April 1846 – 30 November 1923) was a British lawyer, judge and radical Liberal politician. He served as Lord High Chancellor of Great Britain between 1905 and 1912. Background and education Born in Corfu, the largest city on the island of the same name, Loreburn was the son of Sir James John Reid, Chief Justice of the Ionian Islands, at the time a British proctectorate. His mother was Mary, daughter of Robert Threshie. Loreburn was educated at Cheltenham College and Balliol College, Oxford. While at Oxford, he represented the Oxford University Cricket Club in fifteen first-class matches as a wicket-keeper, spanning from 1865 to 1868.
