Joseph Gaspard Boucher
Joseph Gaspard Boucher (February 3, 1897 – April 18, 1955) was a journalist and political figure in New Brunswick, Canada. He represented Madawaska County in the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick from 1935 to 1952 and Restigouche—Madawaska in the House of Commons of Canada as a Liberal member from 1953 to 1955. Known as Gaspard, he was born in Notre-Dame-du-Portage, Quebec and studied at the agricultural college at Sainte-Anne-de-La-Pocatière and McDonald College (now the Macdonald Campus of McGill University) at Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. He worked as an agronomist for some time before moving to Edmundston, New Brunswick in 1920 where he became manager of the Royal Hotel acquired by his father. Gaspard Boucher married Annette Lamarche in 1921. The couple had nine children. The Knights of Columbus (K of C) is a global Catholic fraternal service order founded by Michael J. McGivney on March 29, 1882. Membership is limited to practicing Catholic men. Donald Lamont, professionally known by his stage name Donald D, is an American rapper and record producer from the Bronx, New York. He is a member of the Universal Zulu Nation, a former member of the B-Boys, and is best known as a member of Ice-T's Rhyme Syndicate. Career Late 1970s–1987: Universal Zulu Nation and the B-Boys Donald D began his career in 1978 in the Bronx, New York, when he became a member of the Universal Zulu Nation joining forces with Afrika Islam, DJ Jazzy Jay, Kid Vicious and others as the group the Funk Machine. He was featured on Afrika Islam's radio show the Zulu Beats on WHBI in 1982. Lamont and DJ Chuck Chillout formed a group named the B-Boys. James Joseph Hayes Doone
James Joseph Hayes Doone (August 8, 1888 – April 6, 1953) was a Canadian lawyer and political figure in the Province of New Brunswick. Frequently documented as J. J. Hayes Doone, he was born in the hamlet of Deadman's Harbour near Blacks Harbour on the Bay of Fundy shore in southwestern New Brunswick.Hiattestation papers state that he was born in nearby Pennfield. During World War I, he served overseas with the 104th Battalion, Canadian Expeditionary Force. In the 1935 New Brunswick general election, he was elected to the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick as the Liberal member for Charlotte County. On January 10, 1940, Premier Allison Dysart appointed Hayes Doone to his Cabinet as the Provincial Secretary-Treasurer (Minister of Finance). He served in that capacity for three months then for more than nine years for Dysart's successor, John B. McNair. J. J.
