Joseph Anang
Joseph Tetteh Anang (born 8 June 2000) is a professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club West Ham United. Early life Born in Ghana, Anang moved to England in his teenage years. Before playing as a goalkeeper, he played as a centre-back. Club career West Ham United Anang began playing in the youth team for Danbort in his native Ghana, before moving to Ghana Premier League club Wa All Stars. He went on trial with West Ham United, ultimately signing for the club as an academy scholar in July 2017. He had to wait until March 2018 to play for the club's under-18 team, having not gained international clearance, during which he also trained with the first team alongside goalkeeper Adrián. Anang signed his first professional contract with West Ham on 1 July 2018. He made five appearances in the EFL Trophy for West Ham's under-21 team. Tim Clancy (born 8 June 1984) is an Irish football manager of League of Ireland Premier Division club St Patrick's Athletic, having previously managed Drogheda United. The UEFA Europa Conference League (abbreviated as UECL) is an annual football club competition organised by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) for eligible European football clubs. Tolka Park ( ga, Páirc na Tulchann) is an Irish football ground located in the north Dublin suburb of Drumcondra, on the northern banks of the River Tolka. Tallaght Stadium ( ga, Staid Thamhlachta) is an association football stadium in the Republic of Ireland based in Tallaght, South Dublin. The 2022 President's Cup was the eight President's Cup contested for. The match was played on 11 February between the champions of the 2021 League of Ireland Premier Division and the 2021 FAI Cup winners, Shamrock Rovers and St Patrick's Athletic. Match Summary St Patrick's Athletic had the better of the chances with Eoin Doyle and Mark Doyle both missing two good chances in the first half before Eoin Doyle opened the scoring in the 50th minute, finishing from 5 yards after Shamrock Rovers goalkeeper Alan Mannus parried Jamie Lennon's volley. The home side were level in the 67th minute when Ronan Finn capitalised on a goalkeeping error from Pat's debutant Joseph Anang who spilled a cross straight into the path of Rovers captain.
