Josep Maria Pons Irazazábal
Josep Maria Pons Irazazábal (born 12 April 1948 in Palma) is a Spanish diplomat. He was the president of RCD Mallorca from 8 July to 27 September 2010. From 28 June 2008 to 23 July 2010 was the Spanish ambassador in Austria, ceased as a precautionary measure after being wrongfully accused of sexual harassment. He has been the Spanish ambassador to Netherlands, Denmark and Lithuania. Félix Pons Irazazábal (14 September 1942, Palma – 2 July 2010, Id.) was a Spanish politician. He served as the President of the Congress of Deputies of Spain from 1986 until 1996; previously he had served as the Minister of Territorial Administration. In Congress he represented the Balearic Islands. Pons was a member of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party. He died of cancer. The Congress of Deputies ( es, link=no, Congreso de los Diputados, italic=unset) is the lower house of the Cortes Generales, Spain's legislative branch. The Congress meets in the Palace of the Parliament () in Madrid.
