Jori Hulkkonen
Jori Hulkkonen (born 28 September 1973), is a Finnish DJ and a producer of house music, originally from Kemi, Finland. Hulkkonen started his career in the early 1990s when he worked with Jukka Hautamäki, Tuomas Salmela and Ari Ruokamo for their own label Lumi Records. In 1996 Hulkkonen signed a record deal with French record label F Communications; his debut album of the same year was called ''Selkäsaari Tracks''. Internationally, Hulkkonen's most popular recording is the single ''Sunglasses at Night'', a version of Corey Hart's 1980s hit, created together with Canadian producer Tiga. His most recent solo full-length ''Dualizm'', released in 2005, featured collaborations with John Foxx, Nick Triani, Tiga, Jerry Valuri, and José González. Jori Mørkve
Jori Mørkve (born 29 December 1980) is a Norwegian former biathlete. Career Mørkve debuted in the World Cup in 2001 in Oberhof with a 77th-place finish. In 2005, she came in 49th in the 15 km in Antholz-Anterselva. Her best achievement in the world cup was a third place with the Norwegian relay team from Hochfilzen in the season of 2006–07. She was named to the Norwegian team in the mixed relay at the World Championship 2007 in Antholz-Anterselva. Together with Tora Berger, Emil Hegle Svendsen and Frode Andresen, the Norwegian mixed relay team earned a bronze medal. She also won a bronze medal with the Norwegian team in the 4 × 6 km relay together with Tora Berger, Ann Kristin Flatland and Linda Grubben. Mørkve retired after the 2015–16 season. Jori Lehterä
Jori Jonatan Lehterä (born 23 December 1987) is a Finnish professional ice hockey player currently playing for HIFK of the Liiga. A centreman, he was selected by the St. Louis Blues in the third round, 65th overall, of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. He won a bronze medal with Finland at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Playing career Lehterä dominated the Jokerit junior team in scoring, and earned himself a place on the team's SM-liiga roster in the fall of 2006. He was selected to represent Finland at the 2006 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships 2006 World Under-20's Championships in Sweden, but could not play due to an injury. In April 2007, he signed a three-year contract with Tappara. Lehterä was drafted by the St. Louis Blues at the 2008 NHL Entry Draft in the third round, 65th overall. Jori Matias Harju (born 20 October 1964) is a Finnish two-star admiral. He has served as the Commander of the Finnish Navy since January 2019. Harju was promoted to be Commander of the Finnish Navy after serving as the Chief of Operations of the Navy from 2016 to 2019, ranked as Captain (''kommodori'' in Finnish). Jori Smith
Marjorie "Jori" Smith (January 1, 1907 – November 25, 2005) was a key figure in the 1930s in initiating Canada's modernist art movement. She was a founding member of the Contemporary Arts Society in 1939. Biography Smith was born in Montreal, Canada on January 1, 1907. Her early training was at the Art Association of Montreal where she studied under Randolph Hewton. Subsequently, her studies took her to the École des beaux-arts de Montréal and in 1938 she became the only woman member in the Eastern Group of Painters. She was known for her landscapes and portraits of children painted in Charlevoix county in the 1930s and 1940s. She married Jean Palardy in 1930, and spent much of the following decade in the Baie Saint-Paul area with Palardy, himself a painter film-maker and antique expert. Alberto Jori (born 1965) is an Italian Neo-Aristotelianism (philosophy), neo-Aristotelian philosopher. Born in Mantua, on his father's side he is the descendant of an old noble Swiss family of barons (Freiherren) from Ticino and patricians from Zurich. On his mother's side he is related to a long Jewish line of Mantuan rabbis, from which the kabbalists Moses ben Mordecai Zacuto (also known as the Ramaz), Solomon Aviad Sar Shalom Basilea and the mathematician Gino Fano were also members. Jori Lance Chisholm (born September 23, 1975) is an American professional bagpipe player and teacher who lives in Seattle, Washington. Chisholm is a successful solo competitor winning the United States Gold Medal four times and has placed in the top three in Scotland's Argyllshire Gathering Gold Medal competition. He played with the six-time Grade One World Champion Simon Fraser University Pipe Band and was a featured solo performer for the band on multiple occasions.
