Jorge Alberto Solís López (1 January 1935 — 31 May 1997) was a Honduran association football, football Defender (association football), defender. Club career Nicknamed ''Furia'', (Spanish for "Fury") Solís played for Honduran giants C.D. Olimpia, Olimpia in the Liga Nacional de Honduras, Honduran National League during the 1950s and 1960s. He played in the 1961 Championship of Central America and the Caribbean. He was also part of Platense F.C., Platense's squad when they became the first Honduran League champions in 1966. Honduras

Tegucigalpa (, , ), formally Tegucigalpa, Municipality of the Central District ( es, Tegucigalpa, Municipio del Distrito Central or ''Tegucigalpa, M.D.C.''), and colloquially referred to as ''Tegus'' or ''Teguz'', is the capital and largest city of Honduras along with its sister city, Comayagüela. The Honduras national football team ( es, Selección de fútbol de Honduras) represents Honduras in men's international football. The team is governed by the Federación Nacional Autónoma de Fútbol de Honduras (FENAFUTH). They are nicknamed ''Los Catrachos'', ''La Bicolor,'' or ''La H''. Honduras has qualified for the World Cup three times, in 1982, 2010, and 2014, and never advanced beyond the group stage. The FIFA World Cup qualification is a competitive match that a national association football team takes in order to qualify for one of the available berths at the final tournament of the (men's) FIFA World Cup.
