Jordan Theodore
Jordan Theodore (born December 11, 1989) is an American-born naturalized Macedonian professional basketball player who last played for Reyer Venezia of the Lega Basket Serie A. He also represents the senior North Macedonia national team. He played college basketball at Seton Hall. High school career Theodore grew up in Englewood, New Jersey, and attended and played high school basketball at Paterson Catholic High School. College career Theodore played his entire college basketball career at Seton Hall University, with the Seton Hall Pirates. He finished his senior season with the Pirates, averaging 16.1 points per game and 6.6 assists per game. Theodore broke Golden Sunkett's single-season school record of 197 assists. Pallacanestro Olimpia Milano, commonly known as Olimpia Milano or as EA7 Emporio Armani Milan after its title sponsor, is an LBA Italian professional basketball team, based in Milan, Italy. Its colors are white and red, and the team is sometimes referred as "Scarpette Rosse" (Little Red Shoes) because team officials imported red Converse All-Star shoes for players from the United States. The tag line stuck, and the nickname is still used by many fans today. As per custom in the Italian league, sponsorship has kept the team name changing frequently. S.S.P. Reyer Venezia Mestre, commonly known as Reyer Venezia or simply Reyer, is an Italian professional basketball club that is based in Venice, Veneto. The club currently plays in the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA), the highest tier of basketball in Italy, as well as the EuroCup. The 2017 Italian Basketball Supercup ( it, Supercoppa di pallacanestro 2017), also called Prozis Supercoppa 2017 for sponsorship reasons, was the 23rd edition of the super cup tournament, organized by the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA). EA7 Emporio Armani Milano were the defending champions. EA7 Emporio Armani Milano went to win his 2nd Supercup by beating Umana Reyer Venezia 82–77 in the Finals. The Italian Basketball Supercup ( it, Supercoppa Italiana di Pallacanestro), also known as Discovery+ Supercoppa for sponsorship reasons, is a professional basketball super cup competition. The HEBA Greek All-Star Game, also known as the EKO Greek All-Star Game for sponsorship reasons, is the All-Star Game of the HEBA (Greek: ΕΣΑΚΕ) Greek professional basketball association for men. It was founded and organized by Gus Sarianides. The men's all-star game has most often been played in a format featuring the Greek All-Stars, versus the Rest of the World All-Stars. 2015–16 FIBA Europe Cup
The 2015–16 FIBA Europe Cup was the inaugural season of the newly formed basketball competition organised by FIBA. The season started on 21 October 2015 and ended on 1 May 2016. The competition replaced the EuroChallenge and had the aim to take the place of Eurocup (organised by Euroleague Basketball), as the second-tier competition in Europe. Format In the Regular season, 56 teams are divided into 14 groups of four teams. In the Round of 32, the first and second best teams from the Regular season play in groups of four. The FIBA Europe Cup (FEC) is an annual professional club basketball competition organised by FIBA for eligible European clubs. It is FIBA's European-wide second level. Clubs mainly qualify for the competition based on their performance in national leagues and cup competitions, although this is not the sole deciding factor. The league was founded in 2015 as a replacement of the FIBA EuroChallenge. History On June 30, 2015, FIBA announced it would start a new league to compete with Euroleague Basketball's EuroCup. The Basketball Champions League (BCL) is an annual professional basketball competition for European clubs, organised by FIBA. It is the top-level competition organised by FIBA Europe, therefore the champion participates in the FIBA Intercontinental Cup. The Basketball Champions League Star Lineup is an annual award for the Basketball Champions League (BCL)'s top ten basketball players for each season. The award is given by FIBA. The award began in conjunction with the league's inaugural season, the 2016–17 Basketball Champions League. The 2016–17 Basketball Champions League was the inaugural season of the Basketball Champions League (BCL), a European professional basketball competition for clubs that was launched by FIBA. The competition began on 27 September 2016, with the qualifying rounds, and concluded on 30 April 2017, at the Final Four. A number of 52 teams from 31 countries participated in the competition, including its qualifying rounds.
