Jordan Sturdy is a Canadian politician, who was elected to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia in the 2013 provincial election, for the electoral district of West Vancouver-Sea to Sky as a member of the British Columbia Liberal Party. Prior to his election to the legislature, Sturdy served as mayor of Pemberton for eight years. On June 12, 2017, he was appointed to Cabinet as Minister of the Environment. Joan McIntyre (born 1949 or 1950) is a former BC Liberal Member of the Legislative Assembly, in the province of British Columbia, Canada. She was elected to represent the riding of West Vancouver-Garibaldi in the 2005 election. In 2009 she was re-elected to the same riding under its new name of West Vancouver-Sea to Sky. The 2013 British Columbia general election took place on May 14, 2013, to elect the 85 members of the 40th Parliament of British Columbia to the Legislative Assembly in the Canadian province of British Columbia. Pemberton, British Columbia
Pemberton is a village municipality in the Squamish-Lillooet region of southwestern British Columbia. This Pemberton Valley community is on the southwest shore of the Lillooet River and northeast shore of Pemberton Creek. On BC Highway 99, the locality is by road about north of Vancouver, northeast of Whistler, and southwest of Lillooet.
