Jordan Dodds
Jordan Dodds (born 29 October 1993) is an Australian figure skater. He is a two-time Australian national bronze medalist (2012, 2015). On the junior level, he is the 2011 Australian Junior National Champion. He also competed pairs skating from 2007-2015 with Eliza Smyth where he is a 3-time Australian Junior National Champion. He reached the free skate at the 2020 and 2022 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships. Personal life Dodds was born on the Gold Coast in Queensland. International Challenge Cup
The International Challenge Cup (formerly the Ennia Challenge Cup and the Aegon Cup) is an annual figure skating competition generally held during the last week in February, up till the 2021 edition held in The Hague, Netherlands. Since the 2022 edition a three year contract has been signed with the city of Tilburg to host the event from the IJssportcentrum Tilburg with practice being organised on the neighbouring Ireen Wüst Ice Rink. Ondrej Nepela Memorial
The Nepela Memorial ( sk, Memoriál Ondreja Nepelu), formerly known as the Ondrej Nepela Trophy in 2013–15 & 2017 and the Ondrej Nepela Memorial, is an annual senior-level international figure skating competition. Named after Figure skating at the 1972 Winter Olympics, 1972 Olympic champion Ondrej Nepela, the competition has been held annually since 1993. It became part of the ISU Challenger Series in the 2014–15 season. The competition is generally held in Slovakia's capital, Bratislava, except 2009 when it was held in Piešťany. Ice Challenge
The Icechallenge (formerly known as the Leo-Scheu-Gedächtnislaufen or Leo Scheu Memorial) is an annual international figure skating competition organized by the Grazer Eislaufverein and sanctioned by the Austrian Figure Skating association and the International Skating Union. The event is usually held every autumn in Graz, Austria. Medals may be awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. In 2014 and 2015, the Ice Challenge's senior events were part of the ISU Challenger Series. In 2021, the Icechallenge returned to the ISU Challenger Series under the name Cup of Austria. Asian Open Figure Skating Trophy
The Asian Open Figure Skating Trophy (or ''Asian Trophy''; previously known as the Asian Figure Skating Championships) is an annual figure skating competition sanctioned by the Asian Skating Union. Skaters compete in the disciplines of men's and ladies' singles across three levels: senior, junior, and novice. Following an ASU meeting in Changchun, China during the 6th Asian Winter Games 2007, the ASU revised the name of the competition from the Asian Figure Skating Championships to the Asian Figure Skating Trophy, with the International Skating Union approving the change. 2021–22 Figure Skating Season
The 2021–22 figure skating season began on July 1, 2021 and ended on June 30, 2022. During this season, elite skaters competed on the ISU Championship level at the 2022 European, Four Continents, World Junior, and World Championships, as well as at the 2022 Winter Olympics. They also competed at elite events such as the Grand Prix and Junior Grand Prix series, and the ISU Challenger Series. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Grand Prix Final was cancelled, while parts of the Junior Grand Prix, Grand Prix, and Challenger Series were not held as scheduled. Among the ISU Championships events, the Four Continents Championships were relocated, and the World Junior Championships were postponed and relocated. Due to re-allocations, the Estonian Skating Union hosted three of the four ISU Championships events this season.
