Jonsereds IF
Jonsereds IF is a Swedish football club located in Jonsered, about east of Gothenburg (Göteborg). The club was founded on 2 May 1923 following the merger of Jonsereds GoIF and Bokedalens IF. Jonsereds IF currently plays in Division 2 Norra Götaland which is the fourth tier of Swedish football. They play their home matches at the Jonsereds IP. Background Since their foundation in 1921 Jonsereds IF has participated mainly in the middle divisions of the Swedish football league system. In season of 1923–24, Jonserads were moved to Division 2, Västsvenska Serien. In their first year in the new division, Jonserads finished second behind IFK Uddevalla. They also finished third the next year. Then, after a few years, Jonsereds finished third and were transferred to Division 2 Södra. Jonsered
Jonsered () is a locality situated in Partille Municipality, Västra Götaland County, Sweden with 930 inhabitants in 2010. Jonsered is an old, traditional industrial community by the Säve river outside Gothenburg in Sweden. Jonsered's factories were established here in 1834 by the Scotsman William Gibson (1783–1857). One of the first major products was sail canvas. In 1856 the first Swedish state railway was inaugurated between Gothenburg and Jonsered later being built all the way up to Stockholm. Jonsered was dominated by the Gibson family until the 1920s but the company remained the driving force of the community, being the main landowner until the 1970s. By the 1880s the manufacture of wood processing machinery had started, leading towards the products Jonsered manufactures today. Norrby IF is a Swedish professional association football, football club based in Borås. Founded on 27 April 1927, the club is currently competing in the Superettan. Background The club's best achievement was being promoted to Allsvenskan (top level of Swedish football), after winning the second division in 1955. In Allsvenskan the team only managed to win three games, and were relegated after just one season, and have never returned to top-level football.
