Jonne Kemppinen
Jonne Kemppinen (born 25 August 1981) is a Finnish former professional footballer. He played 168 games for FC Lahti. Career Kemppinen progressed through the youth teams of Kuusysi before making his senior debut as part of FC Lahti in February 2002 in a pre-season friendly against HJK Helsinki, scoring with his first touch. His first competitive appearance followed six months later in a Veikkausliiga game against AC Allianssi, coming off the bench for Heikki Haara. The following season, he scored his first professional goal in a match against FC Jazz. He became the top goalscorer of Lahti in the 2011 Ykkönen season alongside Drilon Shala with 17 goals each, as the club won promotion to the Veikkausliiga. To date, he holds the record for most goals scored in a single match for Lahti, scoring five against Helsingin Ponnistus. In July 2013, Kemppinen suffered a knee injury which required surgery. Lahti
Lahti (; sv, Lahtis) is a city and municipality in Finland. It is the capital of the region of Päijänne Tavastia (Päijät-Häme) and its growing region is one of the main economic hubs of Finland. Lahti is situated on a bay at the southern end of lake Vesijärvi about north-east of the capital city Helsinki, south-west of the Heinola town and east of Hämeenlinna, the capital of the region of Tavastia Proper (Kanta-Häme). Drilon Shala
Drilon Shala (born 20 March 1987) is a Finnish former professional footballer who played as a striker. He is of Albanian origin. Club career Shala progressed through the Reipas youth academy. He made his breakthrough as a senior player for Lahti, playing for the club from 2006 to 2012. On 17 January 2013, Shala moved to TFF First League club Tavşanlı Linyitspor. At the end his first season at the club, his contract was terminated by mutual agreement. He eventually returned to Lahti, signing a two-year contract with his former club on 5 November 2013. There, he won the Finnish League Cup in 2016 with a 4–3 victory against SJK in the final; his third League Cup playing for Lahti. Finnish League Cup
The Finnish League Cup was a knock-out association football, football competition contested annually during the pre-season in winter by teams from Veikkausliiga. The league cup was abolished after the 2016 tournament and replaced with the Finnish Cup group stage starting from the 2017 season. League cup will be played again in spring of 2022.
