Jonathan Coy
Jonathan Coy (born 24 April 1953, in Hammersmith, London) is a British actor. He has worked since 1975 largely in television, notably as Henry in the long-running legal series ''Rumpole of the Bailey'' and as Bracegirdle in the television series '' Hornblower'', adapted from the books by C. S. Forester. He also appeared as the German character, Kurt, in the British television series ''Brideshead Revisited'', in Season 1, Episode 7, entitled ''The Unseen Hook'', and Colin Grove in ''The Sandbaggers'' in 1978. In 2008 he played Lloyd in a UK tour of the play ''Noises Off'', Leonato in the 2011 Wyndham's Theatre production of ''Much Ado About Nothing'', with David Tennant, and Colonel Luykin in Pinero's '' The Magistrate'' at the Royal National Theatre in 2012-13, a production that was included in Season 4 of National Theatre Live. Hammersmith
Hammersmith is a district of West London, England, southwest of Charing Cross. It is the administrative centre of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, and identified in the London Plan as one of 35 major centres in Greater London. It is bordered by Shepherd's Bush to the north, Kensington to the east, Chiswick to the west, and Fulham to the south, with which it forms part of the north bank of the River Thames. National Theatre Live
National Theatre Live is an initiative operated by the Royal National Theatre in London, which broadcasts live via satellite, performances of their productions (and from other theatres) to cinemas and arts centres around the world. About I grew up in Manchester in the 60s. If I had been able to see Olivier's National Theatre at my local cinema, I would have gone all of the time. :— Nicholas Hytner, director of the Royal National Theatre. The programme began its pilot season in June 2009 with a production of ''Phèdre'', starring Helen Mirren, which screened live in 70 cinemas across the UK. Two hundred more venues eventually showed the production internationally, resulting in a combined audience of around 50,000 people for this one performance. The second production, '' All's Well That Ends Well'', showed at a total of around 300 screens, and today, the number of venues that show NT Live productions has grown to around 700. Sir Tom Stoppard (born , 3 July 1937) is a Czech born British playwright and screenwriter. He has written for film, radio, stage, and television, finding prominence with plays. Donmar Warehouse
The Donmar Warehouse is a 251-seat, not-for-profit theatre in Covent Garden, London, England. It first opened on 18 July 1977. Sam Mendes, Michael Grandage and Josie Rourke have all served as artistic director, a post held since 2019 by Michael Longhurst. ''Privacy'' is a 2014 play by James Graham. The play looks at how the personal information we share is used by the government and other corporations, and how this affects our security. It was inspired by revelations by Edward Snowden regarding government surveillance. Productions Privacy had its world premiere production at the Donmar Warehouse, London with an official opening night on 22 April 2014, following previews from 10 April. Its limited run concluded on 31 May 2014. Directed by Josie Rourke, the cast consisted of Paul Chahidi, Gunnar Cauthery, Jonathan Coy, Joshua McGuire, Nina Sosanya and Michelle Terry. A New Era ( es, Un Nuevo Tiempo, UNT) is a centre-left political party in Venezuela. It received 11% of the vote in the 2008 regional elections. Erich Neumann (born 31 May 1892 – died 1948 or 23 March 1951) was a Nazi politician. Neumann was born in Forst (Lausitz) into a Protestant family. His father was a factory owner. After receiving his Abitur, Neumann studied law and economics at the universities of Freiburg, Leipzig and Halle. He served in World War I and reached the rank of First Lieutenant ( Oberleutnant).
