The 2016 Herald Sun Tour was a road bicycle racing, road cycling stage race that took place in Victoria, Australia, Victoria, Australia, between 3 and 7 February 2016. The race was rated as a 2.1 event as part of the 2016 UCI Oceania Tour. The race included five stages: the first was a prologue (cycling), prologue individual time trial; the remaining four stages were road stages, including a summit finish at Arthurs Seat, Victoria, Arthurs Seat on the final day. The champion of the 2015 Herald Sun Tour, Cameron Meyer, did not take part, as his new team was not invited to the race. 2017 Sibiu Cycling Tour
The 2017 Sibiu Cycling Tour was a cycling stage race that took place between 5 and 9 July 2017 in and around Sibiu, Romania. Raced over , the race featured a traditional cobbled prologue along with mountain stages to Bâlea Lake and Păltiniș, and was held as part of the 2017 UCI Europe Tour. The race was won by Colombian climber Egan Bernal, riding for the squad. Bernal took the race lead after winning the second stage of the race, the queen stage, to the summit finish at Bâlea Lake; he then further extended his lead by winning the following day to Păltiniș. Bernal ultimately won the race by 1 minute, 40 seconds ahead of rider Colin Stüssi, with the podium being completed by another rider, Valentin Baillifard, a further 35 seconds behind. The Tour of the Gila is a cycling stage race for both men and women located in New Mexico, United States. It is sponsored by the component maker SRAM. The "Gila" began in 1987. Beginning in 2012, the men's Gila has been added to the UCI America Tour as a UCI classification 2.2 stage race, which permits UCI ProTeams to enter if they so choose; beginning in 2015, the women's Gila has also been added to the women's UCI international tour as a UCI classification 2.2 stage race.
