Jonathan Albon
Jonathan Albon (born 19 April 1989) is a British sky runner and obstacle course racer who has won three Skyrunner World Series. Biography Originally from Great Dunmow in Essex, Albon later moved to live in Bergen, Norway. He twice won the final ranking of Sky Extreme (2016 and 2017) and has once been the overall winner of the Skyrunner World Series. As an obstacle racer, he has won the Adventurey world championships in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. He has also won the Spartan World Championships in 2014 and 2018. Albon won the Trail World Championships in 2019. 2013 London Marathon
The 2013 London Marathon was the 33rd running of the annual marathon race in London, England, which took place on Sunday, 21 April. The men's elite race was won by Ethiopia's Tsegaye Kebede and the women's race was won by Kenyan Priscah Jeptoo. Australian Kurt Fearnley won the men's wheelchair race, while American Tatyana McFadden won the women's wheelchair race with a new course record of 1:46:02. Around 167,449 people applied to enter the race: 48,323 had their applications accepted and 34,631 started the race. A total of 34202 runners, 22,136 men and 12,066 women, finished the race. Spartan Race
Spartan Race is a series of obstacle races of varying distance and difficulty ranging from 3 miles to marathon distances. These races are held in the United States and have been franchised to 30 countries, including Canada, South Korea, Australia, the Philippines and several European countries. The series include the Spartan Sprint, the Spartan Super, the Spartan Beast, and the Spartan Ultra. Spartan Race also has a military series, hosted on military bases. Spartan also holds winter and team events. History Spartan Race began as a spin-off of the "Death Race", a 48-hour endurance event founded in 2007. Spartan was founded by De Sena, intended for it to be a more manageable endurance race for a wider audience. La Palma (, ), also known as ''La isla bonita'' () and officially San Miguel de La Palma, is the most north-westerly island of the Canary Islands, Spain. Yading
Nyidên (Tibetan), or Yading (Mandarin transcription 亚丁), is a national level reserve in Daocheng County, in the southwest of Sichuan Province, China. It is a mountain sanctuary and major Tibetan pilgrimage site comprising three peaks sanctified by the 5th Dalai Lama. Sky Extreme
Skyrunning is a sport of mountain running up to or exceeding where the minimum average incline is 6% over the total distance and at least 5% has an incline of 30% or more. The climbing difficulty does not exceed II grade UIAA. Poles, crampons and hands may be used to aid progress. The governing body is the International Skyrunning Federation. Great Dunmow
Great Dunmow is a historic market town and civil parish in the Uttlesford district of Essex, England. It is situated on the north of the A120 road, approximately midway between Bishop's Stortford and Braintree, five miles east of London Stansted Airport. Originally the site of a Roman settlement on Stane Street, the town thrived during the Middle Ages. Many buildings survive from this period, including a 16th-century town hall.
