Jon Diebler
Jon Keith Diebler (born June 22, 1988) is an American former professional basketball player who is the director of recruiting for the Butler Bulldogs of the Big East Conference. He played four seasons of college basketball at Ohio State University. High school career Diebler played his freshman season along with his older brother Jake at Fostoria High School for his father, head coach Keith Diebler. The family left when Keith accepted the head coaching position at Upper Sandusky High School, which Jon attended for his remaining three seasons. He scored 77 points in a 105–100 win over Tiffin Columbian as a junior. In Jon's sophomore year, the Upper Sandusky Rams won the state championship, coached by his father. As a senior, he averaged 41.2 points, 12.3 rebounds, and six assists per game. Jerry Lucas
Jerry Ray Lucas (born March 30, 1940) is an American former basketball player. He was a nationally awarded high school player, national college star at Ohio State, and 1960 gold medal Olympian and international player before later starring as a professional player in the National Basketball Association (NBA). As a collegian, Lucas led the Ohio State Buckeyes to three straight NCAA finals (1960-1962), winning the national championship in 1960, and finishing as runner-up in 1961 and 1962. Bob Huggins
Robert Edward Huggins (born September 21, 1953) is an American college basketball coach. Nicknamed “Huggy Bear,” he is currently the head coach of the West Virginia Mountaineers men's basketball team. Huggins previously held the head coaching positions at Walsh College (1980–1983), the University of Akron (1984–1989), the University of Cincinnati (1989–2005) and Kansas State University (2006–2007). He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2022. Jay Burson was a college basketball player at Ohio State University and former player in the Continental Basketball Association. Basketball career High school Burson attended John Glenn High School in New Concord, Ohio from 1981-85. During his sophomore season, he led the nation in scoring with a 44 points per game average. In his four seasons at John Glenn, he scored 2,958 points earning him the record for most points scored in the history of Ohio high school basketball. Luke Douglas Kennard (born June 24, 1996) is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Jacob Michael Diebler (born October 28, 1986) is an American basketball coach and former player. Since 2019, he has served as an assistant coach at Ohio State. He has previously served as an assistant at both Valparaiso and Vanderbilt under his college head coach and current Grand Canyon head coach Bryce Drew. He has also worked under former Ohio State head coach Thad Matta as a video coordinator in between his assistant coaching jobs at Valparaiso and Vanderbilt.
