Johnson Twinomujuni is an Anglican bishop in Uganda: since 2017 he has served as the Bishop of West Ankole. Twinomujuni was born in 1968 in Muko, Mbarara District. He was educated at the African Bible College in Malawi; the Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi; and Uganda Christian University Uganda Christian University (UCU) is a private church-founded university administered by the Church of Uganda. A bishop is an ordained clergy member who is entrusted with a position of authority and oversight in a religious institution. Anglican Church Of Uganda
The Church of Uganda is a member province of the Anglican Communion. Currently there are 37 dioceses which make up the Church of Uganda, each headed by a bishop. Each diocese is divided into archdeaconries, each headed by a senior priest known as an archdeacon. The archdeaconries are further subdivided into parishes, headed by a parish priest. Anglican Dioceses Of Ankole And Kigezi
The Anglican dioceses of Ankole and Kigezi are the Anglican presence in (roughly) the ancient Ankole kingdom and the old Kigezi District; they are part of the Church of Uganda. The remaining dioceses of the church are in the areas of Buganda, of Eastern Uganda, of Northern Uganda, and of Rwenzori. Diocese of Ankole The Diocese of Ankole-Kigezi was one of five split from the Diocese of Uganda on 1 July 1960; when the Kigezi diocese was created in 1967, this diocese became Ankole (and Shalita remained in post). African Bible Colleges is an entity comprising multiple Bible college in Africa. The three campuses offer University, university-level education from a Christian perspective, with the aim of training men and women for Christian leadership and service. History African Bible Colleges was founded in 1976 with the first campus being opened in 1978 in Liberia in West Africa. In 1991 the second college opened in Malawi in Central Africa, and in 2005 a third campus opened in Uganda in East Africa. The Central Province ( sw, Kati, ) was a region in central Kenya until 2013, when Kenya's provinces were replaced by a system of counties.
