John Spadavecchia is an American professional poker player from Lighthouse Point, Florida. Spadavecchia has been a regular on the poker tournament circuit since the 1980s, with his first finish in the money of a World Series of Poker (WSOP) event coming in the 1988 World Series of Poker in the $10,000 no limit Texas hold 'em main event where he finished 28th, earning him $8,750. Dan Robison ( 1945 – 2014) was an American professional poker player and gin rummy player originally from Dayton, Ohio. Robison attended Fairmont High School in the Dayton suburb of Kettering, graduating in 1963. He lettered in basketball and golf. The golf team won state championships in 1961 and 1963 along with a runner-up finish in 1962. In 1973 he came to Las Vegas as the partner of Chip Reese. After Robison and Reese won a substantial amount of money from poker in a short period of time they became known as the Golddust Twins. After becoming addicted to cocaine, Robison went to rehab and later became a born again Christian. He was considered one of the best cash game seven-card stud players in the world. Duane "Dewey" Tomko (born December 31, 1946, in Glassport, Pennsylvania) is an American former kindergarten teacher turned professional poker player, based in Winter Haven, Florida. Tomko was the runner-up in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) $10,000 no limit Texas hold'em Main Event in 1982 (to Jack Straus) and 2001 (to Carlos Mortensen). Besides his success in the Main Event, Tomko has won three WSOP bracelets, all in different variations of poker, in addition to various other tournament wins throughout his career. Early life Tomko was born and raised in Glassport, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh.
