John Mark Nelson
John Mark Nelson (born November 23, 1993) is an American songwriter and producer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. John Mark Nelson released his debut album ''Still Here'' in 2011. His second release, '' Waiting and Waiting'', was released in August 2012. In June 2014, Nelson released his third album, '' Sings the Moon'', thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign that helped him fund the project. His fourth full-length album, ''I'm Not Afraid'', was released in September 2015 on GRNDWIRE Records. Early life Nelson was born in Laguna Beach on November 23, 1993. He attended Minnetonka High School and graduated there in 2012. History 2011: ''Still Here'' Nelson grew up around music, as his immediate family was composed of musicians. Biography Jeremy Messersmith was born in Charleston, South Carolina, United States, and grew up in the Tri-Cities area of Washington. He began playing music in church at a young age, and counts Sandi Patti, Carman, DC Talk and Michael W. Smith amongst his earliest musical influences. Jeremy Ylvisaker is a multi-instrumentalist from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is a member of the indie rock bands Alpha Consumer and The Cloak Ox. Career He is a member of Alpha Consumer along with Michael Lewis and JT Bates. The band has released three albums, including ''Kick Drugs Out of America'' (2011). Matt Patrick (born June 15, 1974, Minneapolis, Minnesota) is an American record producer, studio owner, engineer, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He grew up in the small community of North Branch, Minnesota, about an hour north of Minneapolis/St. Paul. Early on Patrick learned how to play piano, electric, acoustic and bass guitars and sing. After high school he began learning other instruments such as mandolin, accordion, dobro, pedal steel, Hammond organ, and various electronic synthesizers. Patrick was the bass player and co-songwriter for the band pegtop (1995–2002) and also gave the group their distinct vocal harmonies.
