John Farry (born 1958, Enniskillen) is a Northern Irish singer/songwriter from Garrison, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. He played in Irish Country bands ''Toledo, Amarillo,Tennessee Sunshine as a vocalist and guitarist before launching a solo career and a songwriting career. Enniskillen ( , from ga, Inis Ceithleann , 'Cethlenn, Ceithlenn's island') is the largest town in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. It is in the middle of the county, between the Upper and Lower sections of Lough Erne. It had a population of 13,823 at the United Kingdom census, 2011, 2011 Census. Garrison is a small village near Lough Melvin in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. The Roogagh River runs through the village. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 357 people. It is situated within Fermanagh and Omagh district. For the 1997 Eurovision Song Contest held in Dublin, Ireland selected Marc Roberts to represent the country with the song "Mysterious Woman". Before Eurovision National final The final took place on 9 March 1997 at the Institute of Technology in Waterford, hosted by Pat Kenny.
